listening:

guess this is a short version of the track, good overall quality, nice acid sounds.. the lead sounds a little empty.. and overall it sounds a little muddy.. needs more low and high en maybe.. and some EQ.. and some breakdowns, and different arrangement would maybe be nice..

i lost everything that i wrote so i'll sum it up...

composition is good but not great.. certainly better than your last trance track..

the hi-hats are empty.. give me a few more hats (a couple wouldn't take away from the chill feeling)

I like the saw lead and square lead that you used..

kick is good

the melody is cool, but i dnt like the square lead thing u used in teh background. In my opinion you should just stay straight the main melody.

i like very much the melody,is sad,the intro is very nice, technically you can improve it,i loved the track d( -_- )b

wow this track has a lot of potential... and I personaly like the triangle lead (no it's not a square lead.. listen carefully :P). These kind of arps are overused like nuts, but the way you used it still sounds interesting.

run this mofo through a BBE Sonic Maximizer

Thanks for the feedback you guys I appreciate that!

loll to Gerry, thanks for the kind words, what does the BBE Sonic Maximizer actually do... It's a DI box from what I remember?

any other comments?

- bass in intro sounds nice
- in general, the track would sound nice if you used fuller, more analog sounding synths
- i like the melancholoy lead melody
- like mentioned, the track is lacking in some percs, which makes it a bit boring

Wasnt too satisfied with the low end of the track as it seemed to be a bit empty. So I made some level adjustments and posted the new edit in the above link, thanks again everyone for the feedback!

comments on new version of the track..

still dig the chords in teh beginning..

nice mix up with the kick.. kick is definitly louder.. i think..

not very mixable, though..

needs more layers, damnit

good on a cynic project type level.. maybe i'll remix it when I'm done with Destiny Beckons.. but you'll have to remix Destiny Beckons in return
