Oakenfold at the Grammys

So I'm watching the E! pre grammy show... and Kathy Griffin just interviewed Oakie! He was on the red carpet all decked out, stupid hair and all. She asked him if his accent was real He was only on for like a min and then they cut to Andy Garcia.

good, fuck the gay ass grammys. let EDM stay underground. i like it better down here! if trance ever goes mainstream im gonna have to become a jungleist or soemthing. i wouldnt be able to handle walking thru the mall and seeing stupid little 12 year old girls wearing Teisto shirts cuz its trendy.

yeah..it might make me turn away from edm at that point, as much as i love it

EDM will stay "underground" as long as record producers here never realize that they can make a huge profit by bringing EDM to the masses.

We can personally thank Brittney Spears, P-Diddy, Usher, J-Lo, et al for keeping our music out of the spotlight. Keep on making shit, keep on putting it on TRL.

But remember, once EDM becomes big-bucks profitable...its all over.

i personally hope to spread electronic music to anyone who wants to hear it. I remember hearing my first full mixed CD, Oakenfold's essential mix miami, and being blown away that there was a type of music that could move me like it did. Electronic music has truly changed my life, and i hope everyone has the same oppurtunity to find something that makes them happy like i have!
