GUYS !!!!!!

Just wondering if you have had any close calls or incidents with your neighbours ever while dj in your house or at a party.

please comment on any things that have happened where there has been conflict when music has been playing good or bad times!

i would like to hear what some things have happened to you good old DJ'S

last year, for the end of the school year we hosted a party with about 125 accounted for souls, all house music and trance, good times, had mad audio going, rented lights the whole bit. we also invested quite a lot in booze, which was good until some jackass destroyed a small tree outside my neighbors house, we had to pay 100 dollars to replace it, it was some palm or something.

sometimes people bitch about the music, and i tell them to fuck off, 75% are very down, the others kinda like it kinda dont. whatever, my party i wanna hear what i wanna hear.

we had a small thing going at my friend's new house, instead of the neighbors coming over to introduce themselves and asking us to turn down the music, they called the cops a few times before the cops came over and told us to shut it off.

last week my neighbor called the cops, it wasnt even loud either, just loud enough for me to be able to hear and mix correctly, and she was totally anal about it too, i think im going to paintball her house

The best way to avoid this, and it's worked for me and my brothers everytime we throw big parties.

Let all your neighbors know your having a party. Give them your phone number, and ask them to let you know if the party gets too loud before they call the cops.
And if you want, invite them. Chances are they wont come over, but shit at least you invited them.

It's the best way to CYA if your throwin a house party

the walls of my house are about 2 ft thick sandstone with double glazed windows, almost no sound escapes and its a detached place so its great for parties
