Well the vibe is great, nice drive also, bassline seems good.

Basic saw usage here, don't mind it though sounds nice.

Sound quality is bad due bitrate, however i can determine that the mixing isn't proper yet.

Mainly the kick is really weak, same with the perc, hihat is so supressed.

its going for like 64 bars the same, it needs really more .

Sublte piano is nice.

Thats it, keep working on it mate

Satan (eek!)

Hey,
Sounds good, there are some high freqs crashing, the bitrate did not help to much neither, the track itself is really cool, that guitar lead is damn sweet and all floes well .I just would work in the mastering, compressing and EQ better, other way is great .
Kopi =o.

I'll listen to it when I get home later today. I'm currently at my girlfriend's place, and she only have a laptop

Btw - I really don't understand why you chose the name "Luca" I mean, you can call yourself whatever in the world (almost) and then you choose Luca? Heh, what's that all about? Sounds like an Italian porn-star or a wannabe or something Hehehehehehe

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this one

Lol man, it sounded good at the time.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

sounds a lot like the airbase mix of smooth, cant really be too critical as the sample is so short + low quality but you need to crispen up the sounds, the percs kick + synths seem rather weak

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-16-2005 16:41:

Thanks luke man.

i dont think Luca is that bad, easy to remember, short, and kewl
i do agree its too muddy at the moment, need to work on ur kick (make louder) and make the rest of the stuff lower in volume,

but it DOES sound real good, great potential, hope u work hard on this one... lots of power

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-16-2005 20:07:

Thanks man.

Luca, mmm was not that kid from suzanne vega hit?
Kopi =o.

- nice trancy atmosphere
- seems a bit repetitive in the middle, you should add percussion or something to make it more interesting
- make those pianos more prominent - they sound good

mmm intrestin, looks like my opionion clashes with yours

Joey mate its ideas and alot of sounds are superb imo, its just your mixing and master mate.

looking foward to our collab, i keep trying to get space to load some samples and tracks for you, but either it messes up or i get distracted

Nice ideas here. Percs sit too quiet in the mix thought. Don't know if thats just the low quality or what??

Also the bass is too quiet, but again that could be just becuse of the mp3.

Nice ideas though

as someone here said before, the only complain is the audio quality, greath track, keep the good work man d( -_- )b

Posted by alexpea on Feb-17-2005 07:58:

The atmosphere in this one is great Though I miss some variation during the first two minutes... Oh, the clipp stopped just right before I was expecting a nice break..dammit Work more on it. I like it!

Sounds great Joey!
Nice dirty synths, and saws.

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-17-2005 22:04:

Ricky man, as always, respect.

hey man, theres real potential with this track could do with a longer and better sounding sample but its great. You just need to work on the perc and levels as other have said. I think it does get a bit repetitive but thats not a bad thing as it sounds like a driving track which works well in dj sets. I think a chord change(s) would make this track sound very uplifting at some point. keep it up, how long have you been producing mate?

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-17-2005 22:40:

Ah, few years now mate. My first track was complete balls but I thought it was the best one EVER made back then, lol. Always trying to improve by learning new techniques and tricks an what have you, and of course trying to fix this dam mastering/mixing fault ive been having recently. I dont know what it is, I just cant seem to get the right balance in a track.

I'll eventually fix it.

Haha quality - that's what I thought to - about a year ago when I was using FL2 ()I made a few songs with no FX (didnt know about them), and was only able to make tunes by cloning the instrument and changing the key . Of course I thought that If I didn't get to university, I would get picked up by a record label.. . Ill try and find a sample of it!
