Problem producing pads! HELP!

GUYS!

I've been killing my ass tryng to make something even close to sound like a pad...

Useing the pro-53, Zeta, and all the others but not getting anywhere.

Could someone give me some nice tips of how to build a nice proggy pad? Even simple, just so I have a basc start

Cheers,

The intermodular preset in PRO-53 is pretty much all you could need,add reverb(Warm),delay and a stereo enchancer,a lil of flanger/phaser and should sounds pretty cool,plus play with the filters attached to it .Also you could layer two Pro-53,one with an octave lower than the other intermodular and should do the work though.
Kopi =o.

in my opion mostly what youve just said is that you dont know how to use any of the vstis you listed. honestly z3ta is the most insane vsti there is the amount of possibilties are endless the mod matrix is huge the amount of controll over the accutall wave shape is amazing. plus you have the abilty to record automation or set controllers to the abilty to morph and adjust the waves makes for insane mod matrix capiblities. so really id suggest just playing with it more learning the mod matrix and being able to do evolving morphing pads that honestly add some great texture. now however if you want to go the easier route get absynth 3 and take a look at some of their presets.
