First 94.9 Zeta becomes spanish reggaetonshit
then 93.1 cheese (with the exception of GDJB and Nocturnal Sessions ) becomes rock
and now power 96 the crappiest station around besides it's hip hop competition and country music stations.

as a matter of fact, who cares, I don't listen to the radio...

I remember DJ Magic Mike and DJ Laz were both on Power 96 for a long time. The home of Miami Bass. I don't like most Hip-Hop, but intelligent rap (atmosphere) is good and so is Miami Bass for a party. Maybe it's cause I was raised on it.

hehehe the thread brought a a smile to my face.. but to see power 96 rank on the top 5 in rating, brought the emptyness to my stomach again lol.. but watch out, the reggeton is sweeping with the hip hop currently, which is much worst

I <3 oldskool rap... like Sugar Hill Gang and Kurtis Blow and of course Miami Bass. Whatever happened to Miami Bass?

As for reggaeton, it has potential... yet they insist on overhyping it with stupid acts that can't sing for shit and producers who put little fruityloop default sounds in their productions thinking it's all good. The only producers in reggaeton I like are Luny Tunes, but they sometimes cag up songs.

Reggaeton will NEVER be more popular than hiphop if they don't do something new and original with it. At least hiphop keeps you on the edge of your seat as to what's going to come out next (regardless if it's all stupid and corny). That's why it has had so much success in the latter part of the 20th century.
