World on Fire mixes available for Download

For those of you who appreciate my non-ambient works:

World on Fire is my monthly show on ETN.fm's prog channel. It takes place every third saturdays of the month between 22:00 and 23:00 (Central Europe Time),16:00-17:00 EST.

A few words about the concepts behind the show:

It's a prog-trance oriented show but as I don't like to stick to one style, It'll include some prog-house and trance from time to time. For those who are looking for last minute tracks, they might be a bit desapointed due to the fact that I often have a retrospective approach. On the other hand, I put all my attention on the mix itself - the flow and the mood of it. Besides the usual beatmatching, I select tracks that "key match" to try and make my mixes become an even better experience.

So what's on the menu for this first show... I'll only say that this mix is a bit different from the kind of stuffs one is used to hear from me. I can also add that you can expect some pop/rock artists bootlegs. I'm not telling more... Check it out tomorow!

I took the mix down a few days ago. It won't be up until next month (for reasons I can't name yet...h�h�). But I'll add the second part if you want to check it. For that, I'll do a separate thread.

Corentin, WOW not sure what set exactly I have but I recorded it off ETN.fm and all I can say is wow. Really unique, I just lose your stuff listened to this set a good 20-30 times already and still not tired of it. Great stuff, you're right up at the top of my dj list.

Listening to the world on fire #2 mix. I dunno man for some reason I just love your stuff, it gets to me. Absolutly perfect. I'm normally listening to harder faster stuff, but for just chillin which is most of the timne now, your stuff is my fave.

Yup I think Im going to continue to praise your stuff, it's the least I can do for free music . In all honesty, overall I think you now stand right next to my two gods, Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren. You obviously have a different style but I like it equally now, all I've listened to for the last week is Corentin.

Wow, I don't think I ever got such compliments till now. I'm really glad to see that you understand my music and appreciate it so much!

A lot of people laugh when one speaks about telling stories with music. It may sound pretentious, but that's what I'm trying to achieve somehow. I don't know if I did in all my mixes but I hope I came close to it in some of them. The producers who write the music put feelings in it. Now the job of the DJ IMO is to use those feelings and speak with them, so that what comes out makes sense.

I don't know if what I told is clear or of any interest to any body as it might have been said a thousand times. All I know is that I'll keep on doing things that way, and I'll try to make the forecoming mixes even better!

Took several of your ambient mixes with me to work, they kept me calm and sane during a very stressful project. Thank you very much for allowing me to take a break from the Prozac and Zoloft tabs

Hehe, glad my mixes make you such an effect Zookeeper. And if you need something more upbeat to wake you up after your Prozac, try one of my World on fire mixes.

A propos WoF, sorry for the ones who tuned in on ETN last week and heard an old mix instead of a new one... There was a problem with ETN's server and they didn't get my mix.

On the other hand, WoF#1 is up once more! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as the other ones.
