Check out this giant Tiger\Lion Hybrid

Its called a Ligar, no kidding. A hybrid of a lion and a tiger. 10ft tall and still growing. Here is the article if you are interested:

yeah they get big. i've known about those for years because of the discovery channel hehehe

basically a liger is the cross of a male lion and a female tiger...

and a tigon is the cross of a male tiger and a female lion...

liger get so big because they basically never stop growing because by choosing those sexes of each animal, they in effect cancel out a gene that typically stops growth at a certain age...

definitely cool stuff...
