The intro is good, but you need to use a kick/crash combination to give it more strenght imo, right now sounds kinda plane.
The mastering sounds pretty good to me good work .
Kopi =o.

Listening now...

Intro nice

The lead and bass meld together quite well. I quite like the melody. Its simple but does the trick.

Piano at 1.27 sounds a bit cheesy. Try fading the lead out and the piano in rather than just dropping the lead.

I agree that the percussion could do with more drive. Not too sure how to achieve that... I'm pretty crap with drums myself.

Feels a bit generic overall, but its god a good clean sound to it and feels nicely EQed =)

you are right, thanks for the feedback,is kinda test the track right you know,i will do that fading as you sugested, seems very indicated and keep working the drums =)

hey man, great avatar

well first off, ur mastering is pretty good, but u gotta work on ur melody more, dont make it so basic, so square, break the rules a little, surprise the listener

but the beats are pretty nice, u know ur mastering, almost there on that part, but just need work on the melody...
keep at it m8

Hey! Finally downloaded. I used IE instead and it seemed to work (I use Opera usually )

Very nice sounding stuff mate. Maybe thicken the lead? Is there more than one layer?

Sounds good at the mo, just trying to imagine it with more layers on the lead. Might not work, and hey, it's your work right?

Cheers

hehhehe, thanks!no layers at the moment,i used just one single lead from sytrus and the same melody of piano whit strings,i will keep improving the track, thanks for the feedback =)

Not bad. The melody could be OK as it is, but you have to at least give it something that makes it a little warmer/drippier, like perhaps a delay and some type of light flanging/chorus to spice it up a bit. The Sytrus preset isn't bad but that software is so powerful I'm sure you can make it 100x better just by tweaking some knobs/sliders. Mastering is good, but the drumline feels generic. Good track, looking forward to an updated version.

there I saved ASS :P

i like the intro melody... reminds of Push or Binary Finary a bit. I agree with Sunquest... these style of arps are a bit 1998 and not really used anymore... unless you can do something real creative and catchy with them, I'd stay away from them.

You've got some nice sounding instruments going on there... so at least the potential is there... you just gotta get some good composition to put on your production skills and you have a hit.

Try doing remixes of some tunes you like... You could really learn a lot from them, and it'll help you find your personal style because honestly, this style is far from unique... It's been done 100fold, but yeah remixes usually help me, at least.

I think your last track was far better in terms of originality... You don't hear a blend of psytrance and eurotrance in one track everyday. I think that could be your original sound!

Posted by Darkness_Hero on Feb-20-2005 04:41:

thanks gerry, thanks virgin, yes, its true, this track is kinda test and in terms of originality lacks too much,in musically terms is totally predictible,by the way i have 5 more proyects to post the next days better than this one, hope to keep receiveing this kind of feedback even brutal if is necesary aniway i think this track could have some potential if i work it hard and keep triying to improve it,thank you guys :P

Wow, mastering is really good, sounds very "clean" to me... every element is in its place, and everything fits in the mix, great!
But as the others said, this one is maybe a bit too standard in its melodies. It's nothing I haven't heard before... Anyway, great mastering, good synthwork, you should try something a bit more original and I bet you'll have success
