TA Glowstickers/Lights @ Spirit 2-18-05 Markus Shulz / Nu-NRG RollCall

Since there have been a lot of post regarding glowsticks in the Markus Shulz / Nu NRG thread, I have decided to make a post regarding glowstickers that will be attending the event.

Lets all get together at Spirit and put on a sick show. It would be nice to meet with other glowstickers or people with Photon lights (yea you trancinchink )It would be nice to see each others style and learn from each other.

Who is with me?

My style is a bit hard to explain.....but ill try.. basically I use the glowstick bracelets as hoops (all different colors) and loop them into each other and twirl them....I dont know how to toss and catch though maybe someone can teach me. I will be bringing extra bracelets for all my female TA peoples (yea Alyssa I will bring you orange, unless u want another color)

Ok now that I heave explained the purpose of this thread....meet up spot inside the club anyone?

Uh Duh....I have been to Seho. I wish they were all coming.

And its not a contest....its more of a unity of glowstickers within the event

i have no problems with glowstickers, just dont hit anyone and dont take up soo much room/make such a big circle that theres no room to dance. lol

i have a problem.... like 80% of the ppl that fuck with it dont know fuck they are doing... they swing it around n shit... its like bad graffitti... while real graffitti is considered art, the wack shit that you see just ruins it and fucks up the image. glowsticking is like that too... if youre constantly making trails and with that trail forms different patterns along the way, it can be a great visual effect/stimulation.. but very few ppl can represent the full potential of glowsticking.

Well lets hope that the bad glowstickers just need some instruction and can get better.When you are a newbie you have to get the feel of em before you develop your own style.

Ok, I will admit some people dont know what they are doing but they practice and get better. Even the best of the best make mistakes sometimes. Its all about having fun in my opinion. Even if someone is glowsticking badly as long as they arent directly bothering me let them have fun. Yes it is and art, but not everyone has a natural hand at it.

im a glowstringer,freehander im actually good at stringin to what people tell me, but yeh i know there is one other GS.C head on here but if u guys lookin for a community join www.glowsticking.com they have meetups and meetups at clubs,raves too. I used to do it for competition but i dont really see the point for it anymore i do it for the art itself becuz i think it brings somethin more to the clubbin lifestyle. so if u lookin for some sick glowstringers with vids check out http://stringepeople.proboards16.com/index.cgi (sick stringers from San Antonio, they r more of the battlin type of crowd) or glowsticking.com (more of a crowd for the art of stringin, PLUR)

PS and if u guys wanna meet up im definitely up for it
