Hehe, good call.. but yea I have dual citizenship. The only reason I can see why alanis would give up her canadian citizenship is to avoid paying canadian taxes.

Yet, still, I am 100% American. I'm about to send in my application (again) for landed status this week. My chances of getting approved are better this time around.

i wanna become an american citizen, but have a dual citizenship between canada and the states. is that even possible?

My uncle is also a dual citizen and has lived there for 16 years.
