It's true.

They got nothing on the professionals!

I'm ashamed to be so 1337, actually.

"pwn": A typo-deliberate version of own, a slang term that means to dominate. This could also be spelled "0\/\/n3d" or "pwn3d," among other variations. Online video game bullies or "griefers" often use this term.

gotta give em props for going out with a bang...

"ph": often replaces "f," as in "phear" for "fear" (as in "ph34r my l33t skillz") and vice versa, such as spelling "phonetic" as "f0|\|371(."

great way to conclude such an eloquent article...

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttare in what order the ltteers in a word are, the only iprmoetnat tohng is that the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae.

The rset canbe a total mses and you can still raed it wouthit porbelm.

This is bcuseae the human mind deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe.

That's what I was talking about.

Harvard? Cambridge? It's all the same.

That was teh 1337

The term "leet" could be written as "1337," with "1" replacing the letter L, "3" posing as a backwards letter E, and "7" resembling the letter T. "0" (zero) will typically replace the letter "O."

I've gotten to the point where I've nearly said "lol" out loud when I found something lightly amusing... instead of laughing.
