Sounds good, I Recognise the Whiteroom sound
I think the voicethingy is a bit too loud.

Other than that I'm looking forward to listen to the final mix!

- nice vocal gate thingy
- the atmosphere is interesting, i like it a lot
- those bg strings sound good, though the progressions seem too familiar to me
- i feel those vocal gates are out of place sometimes
- the buildups are well done, good attention to detail there

Toot turu tut tuuuuuuu, toot turu tut tua,lol... Those vocals sounds very good, but after a minute or sort of become kinda annoying imo :P.
The rest sounds well balanced and clean to my ears,at parts like my ears were waiting for some congas/caribean percussions or sort to be added,to give it more life but that's just me .
In my kopimeter,I would give it a 8.5 of 10 .
Waiting to hear the full thing, great job dood .
P.S.Vanilla has a 10 in my Kopimeter
Kopi =o.

Hey sunquest

This is more like it, waaay better than your last tune. I love the vocals, and the synths, the bass, and everything. Pleeease finish this one (fucking hate all these samples)

Posted by Luke Terry on Feb-18-2005 23:38:

the vox sound pretty dry, get some delay on them man

apart from that' it all sounds pretty much in place

Posted by J.L. on Feb-18-2005 23:56:

production is tight and top notch.

I enjoyed the bass... was interesting...

When the strings come in, everything just fits so amazingly well =)

personally, i don't enjoy the vocals too much, but that is just my own opinion.

another great sunquest production

hmmm....not feelin it at all

not my thing here

Posted by TOR on Feb-19-2005 10:21:

great stuff, especially the bassline. keep up the good work

Posted by music2dance2 on Feb-19-2005 11:12:

dude interesting effect on that voice mate nice chilled tune i like.

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-19-2005 13:29:

Bloody brilliant mate.

Vocals seem too plain and bland though. I'd definately use some sort of reverb or delay.

Posted by JoeyEnv on Feb-19-2005 13:30:

Actually, try putting them through some kind of distortion effect and see how they sound.

Posted by dannyc on Feb-19-2005 14:01:

nice work sunquest, really tight production, loving the white room style to this. you really know how to master the styles perfectly mike etc dont know how ya do it.

that vocal is interesting, doesnt quite fit imo, i dont know maybe in needs to be at a higer octave, not sure needs bit of tweaking anyways.

great job as always man

M.I.K.E. - Sunrise at Palamos (Sunquest Remix) is amazing. the kick is ACE !!!

Posted by sooper on Feb-19-2005 18:50:

Hey Sunquest,

I love that ascending bass line! and the bass synth has great texture.

The clap seems a little quiet in the mix though.

Pro sounding toon as usual! Fine work,
Trevor

Very nice stuff mate (as usual of course)

Keep em coming

Posted by DJ-Kreing^^ on Feb-19-2005 19:14:

Like others here already mentioned, the vocals could have used some crazy effects to make the whole thing sound more interesting and unique.

But other than that this is a quality production, love the groovy bassline.
Keep em' coming mate!

Very very nice track! Love your kick and bass line. Only worry is that you use the vocals throughout the whole song. In that case it might get annoying.

I love the producting although it sounds a bit muffled but that might be the low kp/s version?

Waiting to hear the full version! Keep up the good work!

Posted by Sunquest on Feb-19-2005 20:23:

looks like ill remove the voccals, or make them real quiet and use them just a bit thanks guys

wow this is the best Sunquest track I've heard yet. The mix lacks definition is a bit muddy, but the melodies and synths are very high class. I'm not so keen on that gapped vocal being used the entire time... maybe you can give it a break during the track... less is more! :P heh I dono why but your tracks are usually overcomplex!! (that's not good!) but this one seems to have the most potential... I'm sure it will be a big hit when complete.

Posted by krivi on Feb-20-2005 02:47:

awesome man! just cut out vocals and fill it with some good lead...how you get that pro sounding kick/bass relation? kick is not kicking direct in my ears but it's still here..i have problem with my producions about that...
