Cool Ruby Trance vol 3 CD launch this Friday 25th at ARQ!!!

This thread is dedicated to Sid my greatest fan :P

This Friday Ruby will be launching his 3rd CD at ARQ!!

The DJ lineup is:

10:00 till 12:00 William Silva
12:00 till 2:00 Joshua van Aalst
2:00 till 4:00 Ruby
4:00 till 6:00 Steven Simpson

I absolutely can't wait for this set as I have been strictly instructed to play vocal trance and anthems for the entire 2 hours!!!!

Unfortunately I have not been able to properly belt out the vocal anthems at A Night Of Trance recently and I am extremely looking forward to going crazy once again with the likes of Southern Sun, Fly Away, Liberation, Beautiful, Silence and all the other massive vocal tunes.

So if you would like to come to an absolutely fun night of sing a long vocal trance then look no further. The entry price is only $15 and the night is going to be jammed packed with massive uplifting tunes.

Oh and rumour has it that mirror man will be in full form for this event.

Sid didnt want me to say this but - he reckons the night will be ridiculously epic!! and he will b there 100% (dressed in a disguise consisting of a wig, mini skirt and halter )

Not since the day when I first saw the mirror man, that extraordinary night at ARQ nightclub, when the mirror vest was first unveiled, have I felt more honoured. A thread, by the now critically acclaimed mirror man, has been deidcated to me, Sidney Madi. On a night where there will be more cheese, than you can find on a Dairy farm in the middle of New Zealand, the mirror man dishes out his trademark style of those super dooper, brain busting, anthem vocal trance, that is sure to make you throw those hands in the air and not put them down till the doors open at 6am. Not since Humprehy B-Bear will Sydney experience such a phenomenon, which will literally make the crowds 'Fly away'.

So saddle up, take those t-shirts off, gurn like youve never gurned and if you're extremely lucky, take one of the many transvestite's on offer home for some chicky chicky, in what promises to be the best Josh and friends production yet, RUBY.

I think as long as the nite doesnt get TOO cheesey it should be good. Ruby and co. usually go a bit overboard on the cheese, but 'classic anthems' and some decent vocal stuff usually finds its way into most of the sets played, which makes it worthwhile.

anywayz.
i doubt most people on TA would be going anyway, which is fair enough, a night only for the truly dedicated hehe..

Good luck Josh! & play whatever the fuck you want!!

hey speak for yourself! I for one will be there front and centre singing 'fly away' with my butterfly wings.......'let me fly away, let me fly away, let me flllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy'

oh i'm already getting goosebumps, only three sleeps away

we should really start a roll call, this will be the event of the year.

Posted by Aesthetic on Feb-22-2005 22:03:

what is this fly away song you speak of.. synaesthesia with vocals or vincent de moor's one "fly away" ??

Posted by Joshva on Feb-22-2005 22:32:

alright Sid your on!

The wager

If Sid wears butterfly wings and hot pink pants this Friday and IS front and centre like he says. Then I'll give him two tickets to A Night Of Trance.

I'll need alot more than two tickets to ANOT to wear a pair of hot pink pants and butterfly wings to Ruby. Maybe if you personally fly Digweed to Sydney, book out an entire night club for me and a select few friends and then provide some of the finest chems this world has to offer, we could possibly have a deal.

Dave: its definitely not the Synaesthesia with vocals, nor the vincent de moor track. Maybe mirror man can help with the exact title of the song?

oh dont you worry about Dan and I! We have gone 'fly away' many a times and on Friday night we shall show those imitators how to really get it on 'man to man' style if you know what I mean

Posted by Joshva on Feb-23-2005 22:42:

I can't wait to post up my set list after Friday. It's going to be ridiculous. We had a DJ meeting this week to work out what we are going to play. My constant question was "Do you think I am taking things to far with this track?" . Ruby's reply was "You can never take things to far".

1 more sleep to go. To utter ridiculousness I can't wait

Posted by Aesthetic on Feb-24-2005 02:00:

you have meetings to discuss what tracks you're going to play?
