Fuck Star Wars

It's getting close to the release of Episode 3, but i really dont give a crap anymore. Jar Jar Binks, Young Anikins Bowl cut, Flat characters, music without the OMPHFFF, computer animated yoda blah blah freaken blah; all of which is as interesting a waiting for your 2 minute noodles to boil over.

So whos gonna see it? I know i probably will because im a dumbass nerd. Hopefully we'll see young Han Solo make a cameo & say: "thank fuck that all the jedi have been blown away; all their characters were as interesting as a Johny Howard speech -(aussie joke)"

What are your thoughts on the whole prequal thing? Hopefully no one will post in this thread because of the non-give-a-shit-factor

lucas should have stuck to his original formula. no-one's impressed by artificial effects and cliche characters any more. I'll watch episode 3 just for the hell of it...so I can say "I've seen it all", and thats it for me.

Your loss. The first cuts of the film are spectacular - better than Ep. 6 and on par with Eps. 4 and 5.

Coincidentally, last night my friend gave me a copy of the original trilogy on DVD before the special edition(1997) makeover in which it was over enhanced by F/X's.

I don't know how he got a commercial DVD set of the original movies, but it's definitely a lot better than the DVD's released last September before the over decoration. My guess the distributors must have made a rip from the old laser discs before the special effects makeover...

Shadowwolf, what country is your copy of Episode 3 from and where can I fucken get a copy of it???

Lucas has announced that he is not going to make 7 8 & 9. I dont know how the hell he would do it anyways; He finishes it off quite nicely at the end of Return of the Jedi. You cant just make another 3 just for the ell of it *thinks of Alien Resurrection & AVP & Cringes*
