How do you like your DVD movies?

So? Widescreen or Fullscreen?

Posted by aloep on Feb-20-2005 17:48:

Either way is usually okay with me although unlike a lot of people it seems, I prefer fullscreen.

Posted by Dj_Day-V on Feb-20-2005 19:05:

Sometimes wide en sometimes full screen

Posted by D-res on Feb-20-2005 23:43:

Full

widescreen is annoying. the smaller picture

Posted by Dark Oracle on Feb-21-2005 03:39:

Doesn't really matter to me...as long as I get my pirated movies...

i like wide screen! now i am going to watch Stepford Wives. Have u seen it? I used to have a DVD burner at my old roomies house - and I tried my best to burn DVD's, using DVD -R disks and nothing Ever worked. Either I wasn't able to copy them or I wasn't able to get the "code" or nothing will burn on them. Now i have a pile of 25 DVD-R's sitting at my house with no bloody use! damn technology! damn it to Bits!

Nah, can't say I ever saw that movie.

And I don't know anything about DVD copying, so I'm afraid I can't help you there.

I was watching Insomnia with Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank yesterday. (Widescreen format, of course. ) That movie doesn't have alot of action but it makes you think.

My thread > that thread.

Mine has more choices. So, mine more 1337.

Dallas!!! When I go to TO later this year, we should watch Dodgeball together.

Posted by DjEuphoria on Feb-28-2005 05:42:

I prefer both. For some I like the full screen and for some I like it with the two black bars. About that dvd-burning question. Its really simple, although its not just like copy to copy which I thought it was when this whole Copying dvds with your computer was popular(still though its really easy and GREAT quality).

heres a really simple tut http://www.argonautsonline.net/jaso...os/dvdcopy.html

I just got a 50 pack DVD-R at bestbuy for 20 bucks, nice deal they were on sale. I copied The Day After Tommorow(not really a good movie)to test it out and it was great. Its like an exact copy and I couldn't even see any loss of quality.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Mar-01-2005 22:36:

I definitely prefer widescreen.

You *would*

What's *that* supposed to mean?

Why don't you tell me?

No, why don't you tell me?

I asked you first...

16:9 aspect ratio looks pretty on my 52" TV! I hate when a movie wastes a part of the screen!
