Everybody loves a crazy night with Sander K...review and my pics

Well i have finally arrived back in gainesville after a long ass weekend...sasha on friday in orlando and then down to miami for the mighty Sander K at space...from the moment he stepped in the booth, about 3:45 he dropped non stop funk the whole night...his third track was none other than rachel star-till there was you and from that point on i knew this was going to be a sick set...there was no down times at all...i have never seen sander rock the mainroom like this as its usually on the terrace that he plays so great...this night was much different and he owned the mainroom better than he ever has before and everybody was feeling it...i have never seen that much energy in space for sander, ever and it was not stop...crazy funky tracks and the best set flow i have experienced from sander ever... it sounds crazy but his mainroom set was better than the terrace...he played alot of tracks that were unknown and of sourse dropped a few of the traditional sanderesque favorites...the set was so intense that he played the mainroom till about 7:45 and it couldn't of been better...some of the familiar's were:

rachel star-till there was you
Sander K-the fruit(skylark remix?)
nikola gala-swing to harmony(mathew dekay remix)-SICK
let the sun shine on me-???? played on terrace also
ace of base-cruel summer-??remix- track of the night..fucking awesome
owner of a lonely heart-played on terrace also
green velvet lala land-ended mainroom with this

it was a great night...rachel,ryan,neil, we had fun all day and topped it off with that crazy ass night...dr dave you rock and thanx again dude cooo-raaay-zeee...james great to see u rockin out as well...thanks to my boy dsmalls, for making me that sander k shirt that i wore in the mainroom...sander loved it when i showed it to him on the terrace... overall it was another crazy space night chiilin with cool people and of course S.K. definitely the best sander night hands down...i also have some sick video of most of the tracks i listed above but i don't know how to host them, they came out sooo good though and any sander freak would want to see them...well here are some pics...

bad news.........sander k broke both of my legs on sunday morning.....i talk to my lawyer today and he thinks we might have a case......might be a class action lawsuit....i'll have to talk to my doctor (dave) and see how many other injuries were reported.

but we do get Sander once a month ...I'll take that over Florida weather anyday

correct but we get him in miami every 3 months and he plays for 8-10 hours each time so it balances out...although it would be cool to have him every month...i dont see why he doesent do every month at both places in ny fri then space sat i mean its just a quick flight and a bunch more money for him...we will see what the future holds for sander, he is on a huge growth spurt right now, all of the shows i went to last year at space 4 sander were empty and 20 bux..the other night was 30 and packed...people are starting to see what ive seen for the last few years and i guess its good thing...

it's all good. i got in at 4am like the slacker i am, but it sounds like Sander only started a few minutes before and i didn't miss Til There Was You, so all is good.

yea, plus twice in orlando last year too. but a much shorter set of course.
it's 80 degress here in feburary right now! so yeah... i'll take the weather, hurricanes and all.

I know sasha does that with his fundacion residency here and in LA, so I don't see why Sander can't do that too

I don't like warm muggy weather. I much rather have 10 degrees and 20 inches of snow than 70 degrees and 100% humidity. But that's just me

yea james u didnt miss much, rachel star was the third track...and the one that really started the set so u were there for all the goods...the shirts will be in full effect, i am actually going to modify it some but the logo still rockin with some of that lmr funk on the back...im gonna start workin on the design this week...dood i just watched over all of the videaos from the other night and they are taking me right back to the other night...cruel summer was absolutely insane and so was swing to harmony...i also have some awesome terrace videa when i was up in the booth behind sander of him mixing and drinking cristal and shit...its awesome

so thats what the patio looks like now.... weird. havent been to space since morillo

Great review, I can't wait to see Sander on the terrace. He's definitely ahead of PvD for me right now. Hopefully Paul can change my mind.
