Single charts from 1970 to 2005
Hello everybody, I send you this link from my own website which gives my personal charts from 1976 to january 2005. 1970-75 is under construction ! You can also watch the alphabetical list of artists with informations and highest positions :
http://www.charly1300.fr.tc
There are a lot of disco, hi-NRG, eurodance, new wave and trance tracks on it. I hope you'll enjoy and react giving your opinion about the artists charted.
I think you've posted this before.
It's real but my intentions are to have discuss about the artists charted.

Is it a thread about how many times I posted it here or about music?
I didn't check your older charts out, but the newer ones had a couple of decent tunes, and a lot of what I think is utter shit. You might want to consider making it english if you want everyone here understand what it says.
Look at the english banner on the index
voila rocks

About the charts...
Well there are a few very good tunes as it's been said (Reflekt, Way out west, Reflekt, Way.. etc etc
)
Other tracks are very average/cheesy/ or just different styles... that's ok, but remove the L5 track
Trance addicts don't look back in the past?
No offense but your top 10 tracks of 2005 have nothing to do with good trance and most of them are utter shite anyways.
Edit - I just realized I was looking at January and not your current charts, but it still really isn't my cup of tea, sorry.

Euh... t'es srieux avec tes charts ???
Let's take an example
| quote: |
| 02/01/2005 N1826 01. PETER LUTS feat. NIVELLE (don't go) => DANCE = SHITE 02. WITHIN TEMPTATION (memories) => METAL/HARDROCK what so ever = SHITE 03. TITIYO (loving out of nothing) => DON'T SEEM TO BE EVEN this titiyo (on discogs) => SHITE 04. DARREN HAYES (darkness) => NOTHING TO DO WITH TRANCE 05. COMMON DREAM (someone could) => surely DANCE = SHITE 06. NU PAGADI (sweetest poison) => surely DANCE = SHITE 07. SNOOP DOGG feat. PHARRELL (let's get blown) => HIP HOP = SHITE 08. IAN VAN DAHL (inspiration) => DANCE = SHITE 09. NIELS VAN GOGH (don't be afraid of tomorrow) => TRANCE (but 'm not even sure if it's a good track or not =p) 10. MORRISSEY (I have forgiven Jesus) => NOT ELECTRONIC (indie rock? what's that?) => NOTHING TO CARE |

This thread is mostly clear. If you don't like it, you could go to another thread. It's not necessary to be impolite and aggressive. PETER LUTS and IAN VAN DAHL are doing trance-pop, believe or not and I'll be curious to know if you really like trance music and which artists.
PS: if you don't know this Niels Van Gogh track, I think you don't have your place on this forum
I also think that you don't know anything about the charted tracks. So, you don't have to critize what you never heard. Thank you.
Open your mind, french TA

You have to consider that my charts are really opened than other french charts because I use several sources like discogs. I listen and appreciate electronic musics; but I think this year is particullary touched by the lack of creativity in trance. Trance is becoming less popular (mostly in France) than two years ago and I regret that. My favorites are Blank and Jones, ATB, Nostrum, Schiller, Paul Van Dyk and Push but these artists went to the club scene 10 years ago. Nowadays, we don't have new talents to complet with them.
