Good. Does the original kinda justice. The percs sound um. A bit. Chopped. Not enough sparkle in the high range on your hats. Sounds kinda flat?

Then when you bring all your high-range percs starts to sound muddied. How much eqing you doing? Cut bass out of things that don't need bass, cut high out of things that don't need high. (probably just stating what you already know)

Good work though. Overall not bad. Could use some work. THen it will soudn better.

NOW, i've whored myself to TONS of other peoples production work today. Would it hurt ya to review my shitty track? (in my sig)

some great elements in this one !!!

that synth playing every 4 bars is nice, the kick is nice too.

where is the bass ??? only strings around 2:00 is a bit empty too !

hmm whole remix seems to be a bit empty , you should add more elemnts , ilike percusion but i dont like that sound at 33 and later is sounds like cow hehe(dont be angry that just my feeling when i listen it ) but except that its very good work more on it and should be great

thx guys for your replies...
im currently trhinking about some more elements and another perc.line...maybe a little bassline will be added...but thats not for sure...

anyone else wanna give some feedback?!

Posted by Klangzentrum on Feb-22-2005 21:38:

ok, i made some changes to the track:

- increased the bpm to 138
- added a cabasa
- added some lil synthies (i guess you will just recognise them while listening to the whole mix)
- worked a bit on the eq'ing

...and i decided to leave out a bassline, works aswell without any, imo...

have fun with it...probably the final version...

hey thx! glad you like it! sure you can play it in a set! would be an honour to me! if you need a higher bitrate, just pm me!

percs dont flow well, need to be less punchy, i think your closed HHs are too loud..also they are a bit thin on the ground! I think overall the mix sounds a little empty. I can see the ideas you have but you should work on them a little more!

Keep at it!

Hey Lars!

You've done a great job here... you insert your own originality, but maintain the punchy fun/good vibe that PVD toons have!! lots of bounce to it.

Unfortunatley, I'm listening to it on shitty computer speakers at work, so I think I'm missing out on some. Wish I could provide some constructive feedback..

But thanks for sharing, this is awesome!

Nice work

You got a really nice tune here. It's very loyal to the original, which to me is always important. I hate remixes that sound nothing like the original track. I frankly don't know what advice to give you tom improve it because it sounds pretty proffessional to me. Keep making some quality work like this one mate!

thx again for the kind words about this remix! im glad you like it...
perhaps ill work in this one again in the near future...but probabla this is the final versio, because i like it the way it is...

anyone else wants to give some feedback?
