theres a bullet in the gun

oakenfold 99 mixes are amazing.
not too repetitive for track selection, mostly good and newer track selection and pretty good mixing. What happened? I doubt it was coke i think he was doin that when he was spinnin in 99 too? god damn.

he got a starry eyed surprise

i've heard the argument many times that he started doing a lot of coke and that's why he kinda fell off. I'd be more apt to believe that he just doesn't have the enthusiasm he used to, or his musical taste changed in a different way from the industry.

Heh I thought I was "done" with Oakenfold, but just recently I heard Travelling cd 1 again for the first time in a couple of years, and now I can't get enough of it. Bullet in the Gun is one of the cd climaxes on that one and just sounds amazing, even though he used this song on how many cds? I could be wrong but it seems like at least a few.

*sigh* i hope money didn't do it and i didn't want to say it, but i mean it seems to be a trend...hope my fav djs now don't get too big too fast in that case

Another topic that I don't like to accept; I wish trance could be both mainstream and pure, but I doubt that could happen with any form of music, because once the money hits, most DJs change their view about the music they produce...

or are forced to by their lables. Overproducing!
