Rasta POLAND- A Real Democracy

I was visiting family in poland during the christmas break, and what astonded me was that the country our family dreaded to leave during communist times is as more of democracy then the usa or canada where i reside. In poland media is free and is not biased as is the media here in most parts of western europe. what also berieved me was that in poland nowadays no government contracts or jobs of sorts are handed out without media presence, because of fear of bribery, there have been scandals after scandals broken out into the media via the fact that there are private newschannels, . also the laws are more stingent for real criminals, also a country of 40 million catholics "how tolerant they are of gays and lesbians" that really shocked me!

Why would that surprise you? Poland is a relatively "new" country (having just escaped communist dictatorship), and hence their constitution and institutions have yet to be corrupted by centuries of conflicting and selfish interests.

we need to switch between communism and capitilism more often then

What's equally shocking is how anti-democractic Canada is.

The PM appoints the Supreme Court justices, Senators, provincial judges, heads of Crown corporations (roughly 20% of the Canadian economy), the Governor-General and the provincial Lieutenant-Generals.

...all without any sort of check!

Not only that, but the Liberal Party is the most corrupt political party in the West, bar none.

No, you've misunderstood. Simply to redraw the shape of government once in a few hundred years. Inspired by developments in other countries, or within other areas such as corporate culture.
EDIT: And btw. your system is not "capitalism", just as the old system in Poland is not "communism" - they are merely idealogies which was/is treasured by the builders/maintainers of the two systems.

all contracts above 5K in canada are public, does the media have the time and resources to check every damn contract that the govt makes??? thats another question.
