Colonoscopies are very important to get if your family has a history of colorectal cancer or if you have any possible problems that could end up causing colorectal cancer (polyps, crohns, etc).

Colorectal cancer is one of the easiest to prevent and has very low mortality rates if caught early. If it isn't caught early however - it is very lethal.

If anybody on TA needs one or should get one for preventative purposes - don't put it off. Be brave and get it done - it very well could save your life.

my 6 y/o distant cousin was said to have colo watever cancer....

doctors realized 3 months later that it was a wrong diagnoses

so much for listening to teh doc...
