Question to those DJ's out there:
Ok.. Have you ever had one of those heavy records or just a record that likes sticking to your slipmat?
And like when you attempt to back it up to cue it it also drags the motor back along with it?
This is a pain in the ass and i was jus wondering if any other ppl had the same thing happening to "some" of they records.
And would this screw up the rotor in the long run.

Um, no. Make sure you have a plastic piece of whatever between your platter and your slipmat. So when records do stick to your slipmat they will spin since the slipmat is no top of the plastic which is on top of the platter. Make sense, good.

Easy solution...

Theres an easy solution for that problem... get a decent slip-mat!
