Carola is coming....

Looks like Marco Carola will be the headlining DJ for Circus' first anniversary party March 18.
more info coming soon apparently.

I haven't seen anyone there since Adam Jay awhile ago.. haven't even checked out the other room yet! should be a good night!

Anyway, it's a bit unfortunate, not like we couldn't use a few more clubs *taking a chance* booking some techno headliners.

I wouldn't have posted this, but they are already listing it in the events section on an Ottawa board (Circus), so it's past the rumour mill stage as far as they are concerned.

Anyway.. so I was a bit surprised they posted this Carola booking personally.. if they are going to go down the road of booking techno headliners (which I HOPE) then I hope they develop a different strategy.

ya well.. I have my preferences in any club that I go to, and I prefer seeing techno headliners at Aria, always have.

But..... at this rate I'd be up for seeing Carola at the St-Sulpice!!
well.. that's a stretch, but I think it's important to support promoters who are making the effort to bring in the techno names we all want to see.
We can certainly use more headliners coming by these parts, and *if* the position Aria has is that techno headliners aren't drawing the crowds like they used to, than I encourage other promoters to start filling the void.

circus mainfloor is great. was there only once and i liked it. the only thing i dislike is the dj being so far in a corner. anyway had good time there with adam jay last time.

and carola should blast that place with the new tracks he�s playing at the moment. whoa!!

there are 3 rooms at circus and different setups depending on if its thurday, friaday or saturday

but the main room ... once you walk up from the stairs if you walk straight ahead thats the main room and the dj is in the center of the room ....
