Uplifting melodic trance, midnight (first project)
Hi,
That's my first uplifting track that i have produced only with vst-plugins.
I'm not 100% sadisfied with all the details of the song (mixing),
but it sounds good i think.(and a few other listeners)
If u have some suggestions, please post it.

you got the basics covered and your melody is pretty good. Your percussion samples are rubbish though and your track lacks a good strong kick and bassline, work on that. Your synths are pretty decent for your first track with vst's and all, they still sound a bit dry and cold though.
thanx for your comment, i know about the bassline and the percs.
maybe i fiend a solution for that in the future. i have to try out,
like all others.

Listening now...
The hihats are working for you, they just sound a bit tinny. The kick needs work usual stuff.. try layering a few differnt ones to get something with a bit more punch. Clap and snare need work.
The melody at 2.08 sounds like its hooked up to a filtered lfo or something. Too much filter on a lead like that can be a bit distracting. Less is more.
Breakbeat at 2.31 is a nice touch =)
I can see (er..hear rather) what your trying to do with the breakdown at 3.32. The pause and the acidy sound work well... Needs more after it drops back in though. Right now the track sorta seems to fizzle out after it.
Overall the track needs better EQing. Also the synths sounds a bit dry and thin. Try doubling them up or adding more delay to give em more beef...
=)
thanx for your opinions,
when i be honest, all the the advice is correct. i'm not very
experienced in logic and mixing. i knew just a few tricks.
but if i could take more out of the track, i will post it again.
have to try out some things.
thanx for listen
