Randy Moss traded to the Raiders!! ??
Here's the article on ESPN that says the Vikings will get the 7th pick and LB Napolean Harris for Randy Moss. Says that it's not official but his agents say its been completed.

While he may be a headache, I don't see how you can trade a talent like Randy Moss away. At least he will fit in good with the Raiders organization; they seem to take on all the headcases. And looks like the Vikings may pick up Braylon Edwards at #7 now to replace Moss. He's a big play receiver and would mesh with Culpepper well.
i wouldn't give randy for anybody .. randy can catch and unless i would have gotten some good WR i would never trade him ... even if he is the worst SOB he would play on my team
haha I dunno what to think of this trade. But yeah Vikings are just tired of Moss s crap.It was probably something that really pissed them off recently that led to this trade
raiders got 3 pretty good recievers now in Porter ,Curry and Moss
fuck randy moss and his attitude,I dont give a shyt how good you are if you dont play for the team and you always think of yourself, you can get da fuck out.He had problems with Chris Carter and Dennis Green.Iwould trade his punk ass just for leaving a game before it finishes, lack of respect towards his teammates.
as much as i was clapping my hands to see randy moss go to oakland, i see minnesota being jobbed in this deal .. a 7th round pick?? napoleon harris?? is that what randy moss is worth now ?? i know randy moss is talented and everything, and he is worth more than that .. i think red mccombs just gave him away, before giving up the team to the arizona guy .. (the new owner .. forgot his name )...
but i don't think minnesota will be lacking next year anyways .. they have campbell and burelson, two speedy guys, and marcus "coo coo ka choo" robinson, who has about the same type of talent randy moss does, at randy moss's old position .. (remember .. robinson once caught 4 touchdown passes in one game for baltimore ..
) .. also plaxico burress and desmond mason is available now ?? look for minnesota to shoot after these guys ..
all i know is minnesota is looking for someone that is tall so daunte can throw those "alley-oops" to the back of the end zone ..
The 7th pick in the first round, not a 7th round pick.
As a true Raider fan I'm ecstatic about this trade. It's hard to put a true price on Moss' on-field abilities. Sure he runs his mouth, but if he's so good that defenses have to alter their gameplan to stop him, I'll take it. This will be the year guys like Porter and Teyo Johnson really emerge as quality producers.
Now about that defense.......

I'm just glad he's not coming to Miami - he'll NEVER win anything
in other news, these players were released by their respective teams :
jerry rice, ty law, and mushin muhammad ..
and
..
now with muhammad and dyson in the market, minnesota cant miss out on this .. and also they can really beef up their secondary by getting ty law ..
[edit]
takes one day to change everything .. mushin muhammad signs with the bears, charles woodson signs a hefty one year contract, causing the raiders to be over the cap, and now there are talks of a santana moss-laverneus coles deal in the works right now???

The Browns need a quarterback to fill in for a few years while we find a franchise starter. Who should we sign?

As a raider fan its nice to have Moss on the team with a second weapon in the WR spot but in all honesty i dont think WR was the biggest priority they should of gotten a RB or a LB for that 7th pick someone like Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams , or mayb Derrick Johnson ( which i cant see staying up that high in the draft). So they give up Harris who was a decent LB which they needed help in that postion to start with and they give up 7th pick for Moss yes he is probably in the top 3 WRs in the league but Porter and Curry would do just fine i would think. I just want to see who they will pick up as a RB, thats there biggest priority on offense
I would imagine they're gonna get Lamont Jordan. Who knows if they will draft a RB. Lamont would be aaaiiigght but nothing game breaking.
IMO, Randy Moss (when he cares) is the best WR in the game. He changes football games. Curry and Porter can be very good but they don't have the same impact that Moss would have. Unfortunately, we're not just talking talent alone because we're talking about someone that quit on his team. For all the stupid things that TO does to make me hate him so much, at least the guy has an incredible work ethic. But that's the Ray-Duh's way to take on 'personalities' and sometimes it works for them.
I thought Napolean Harris was just average. Not too bad but nothing too special.
You can't be assured that the 7th pick of the draft (taking a RB like Brown or Benson) would equate to the talent in Moss. Yet, you can't always assure yourself of Moss caring.
Free Agency starts today bitches!! Let's get it on...
it seems the mosses are moving this year ... the jets and 'skins make a blockbuster move by trading santana moss for laverneus coles (coles goes back to the jets, after leaving them because he was looking for a bigger contract ..
.. well the world turns around there .. i wonder how "mr. jets season ticket holder" verndogs is taking this trade) ..
to tell you the truth, this trade benefits pennington a lot, because he is used to throwing to tall wide receivers (randy moss in marshall, coles with the jets before he got traded) ..
