I think any part in DodgeBall is freakin' hilarious! especially the part when the coach is throwing screw drivers at their heads to "encourage" them to play!
**
Another is when Bob Barker & Adam Sandler get in a fight on the golf course in Billy Madison...
another funny one would be when Bridgette Jones Diary when she runs outside in the snow storm in her underwears just to catch that dude(whatever his name was)!
ummmm..... I think pretty much of any the episodes on the Passion of the JEw DVD is pretty funny (although, that really isn;t classified as a movie). . . .
without a paddle is suposedly a funny flick!<---but i haven't actually seen it yet!

My 10 Top Worst/Cheesiest/Corniest movie lines ... EVA !
- J-Lo in Gigli- "Gobble,Gobble"
- Keanu Reeves 'leet hacker Ne0" reaction after his comp gets hacked by Trinity in Matrix - "WOAH!"
- Leonardo De 'King' Caprio proclaimation to the iceburgs and seagulls in Titanic - "I'm the king of the world!"
- Cutie Pie Renee Zellweger tearjerking heartfelt confession to Jerry McGuire - "You had me at hello" - awwwww...ohh, that's soo tweed...*gulp*...BARF !
- One of Legolas many brillant moments of relfection in Lord of the Rings:Return of the King - "The men are quiet...and the horses are restless"
- Tough guy with a soft heart, Nick Cage in Con Air - "Put the bunny back in the box"
- Ice Man Val Kilmer and Maverick, Tom Cruise share a tender moment in Top Gun - "You can be my wing man anytime."
- Renee Zellweger delivers another stright line that was later used by millions of men to get laid - "You complete me"
- Sugary Syrupy Simplification in Love Story "Love means never having to say you're sorry"
- The girl next door, trapped in a hollywood stars body Julia Roberts on the simple things she wants in life as told to the foppish Hugh Grant in Notting Hill - "After all... I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her. "
And now...to some of the greatest lines i think were ever commited to celluliod :
- Jack Nicholson as Col. Nathan R. Jessup in A few good men talking about code reds, honor and the inability of men in "faggity white suits" to comprehend the truth -
"You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know - that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall -- you need me on that wall. We use words like "honor," "code," "loyalty." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!"
- Samuel L. Jackson as Jules in Pulp Fiction. A biblically inspired executioner speech, delivered with raw, cold emotions by this cool cat with a fro -
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
- Ewan McGregor as Mark Renton in Trainspotting narrating the thoughts of a listless generation -
"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family, Choose a f--king big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose a three piece suit on hire purchased in a range of f--king fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the f--k you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing f--king junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarassment to the selfish, f--ked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life...But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?"
- The often laconic Clint Eastwoodas Harry Callahan playing the quintessential renegade cop in Dirty Harry throws it down -
"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?"
- Edward Norton in the slow paced Spike Lee joint 25th Hour serves it to everyone in New Yoick with the "FUCK YOU" speech -
"Fuck me?
Fuck you!
Fuck you and this whole city and everyone in it.
Fuck the panhandlers, grubbing for money, and smiling at me behind my back.
Fuck the squeegee men dirtying up the clean windshield of my car. Get a fucking job!
Fuck the Sikhs and the Pakistanis bombing down the avenues in decrepit cabs, curry steaming out their pores, stinking up my day. Terrorists in fucking training. SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!
Fuck the Chelsea boys with their waxed chests and pumped up biceps. Going down on each other in my parks and on my piers, jingling their dicks on my Channel 35.
Fuck the Korean grocers with their pyramids of overpriced fruit and their tulips and roses wrapped in plastic. Ten years in the country, still no speaky English?
Fuck the Russians in Brighton Beach. Mobster thugs sitting in cafés, sipping tea in little glasses, sugar cubes between their teeth. Wheelin' and dealin' and schemin'. Go back where you fucking came from!
Fuck the black-hatted Hasidim, strolling up and down 47th street in their dirty gabardine with their dandruff. Selling South African apartheid diamonds!
Fuck the Wall Street brokers. Self-styled masters of the universe. Michael Douglas, Gordon Gecko wannabe mother ******s, figuring out new ways to rob hard working people blind. Send those Enron assholes to jail for FUCKING LIFE! You think Bush and Cheney didn't know about that shit? Give me a fucking break! Tyco! Worldcom!
Fuck the Puerto Ricans. 20 to a car, swelling up the welfare rolls, worst fuckin' parade in the city. And don't even get me started on the Dom-in-i-cans, 'cause they make the Puerto Ricans look good.
Fuck the Bensonhurst Italians with their palmaded hair, their nylon warm-up suits, their St. Anthony medallions, swinging their, Jason Giambi, Louisville slugger, baseball bats, trying to audition for the Sopranos.
Fuck the Upper East Side wives with their Hermes scarves and their fifty-dollar Balducci artichokes. Overfed faces getting pulled and lifted and stretched, all taut and shiny. You're not fooling anybody, sweetheart!
Fuck the uptown brothers. They never pass the ball, they don't want to play defense, they take fives steps on every lay-up to the hoop. And then they want to turn around and blame everything on the white man. Slavery ended one hundred and thirty seven years ago. Move the fuck on!
Fuck the corrupt cops with their anus violating plungers and their 41 shots, standing behind a blue wall of silence. You betray our trust!
Fuck the priests who put their hands down some innocent child's pants.
Fuck the church that protects them, delivering us into evil. And while you're at it, fuck JC! He got off easy! A day on the cross, a weekend in hell, and all the hallelujahs of the legioned angels for eternity! Try seven years in fuckin' Otisville, J!
Fuck Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and backward-ass, cave-dwelling, fundamentalist assholes everywhere. On the names of innocent thousands murdered, I pray you spend the rest of eternity with your seventy-two whores roasting in a jet-fueled fire in hell. You towel headed camel jockeys can kiss my royal Irish ass!"
and finally...lines without which cinema just wouldn't be the same -
- "E.T phone home" {EI)
- "Hasta la Vista, Baby" (Terminator)
- "I'll be back..." (Terminator)
- "Say hello to my little friend" (Scarface)
- "Show me the money !" (Jerry Macguire)
- "Bond...James Bond. " (Every James Bond Film)
- "I love the smell of napalm in the morning...smells like...victory." (Apocalypse Now)
- "Use the Force, Luke." (Star Wars ?)
- "Yo, Adrienne!!!" (Rocky)
- "My Mama always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get." (Forest Gump)
- "Why does it cry, Smagol?" (Lord of the Rings)
- "The first rule of Fight Club is - you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is - you DO NOT talk about Fight Club." (Fight Club)
- "Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker. (Rounders)
Phew...This damn post took me 30 minutes to write -- not that i'm complaining. Remembering some of those truly awful/brillant lines was well worth the effort...

Hehe...my bad, I know reading is probably the last thing anyone wants to do on a message board. It's just, I have this thing (call it a mental condition) which forces me to waste time writing one, admittedly long post to get my point across, rather then waste 50 posts saying absolutely nothing.

Cheese is cheese, no matter which way you cut it. I enjoyed Top Gun as well, but that line is pure fromage, you gotta admit that much. I'm not saying the movie sucks, matter of fact, quite a lot of really corny lines I picked are out of movies that i've enjoyed -- which might explain why they have stuck out in my mind. That being said, there is no excuse for corniness...just like there's no excuse to love tiesto. Tiesto ??? Oh, wait, wrong dicussion...all this talk about cheese got me confused about the subject under debate.
Back to the topic at hand...and in the interest of maintaing board tranquility, i'm gonna lay off "Top Gun" from now on...you can wrap up all those happy memories and place em back into the warm cockles of your heart., safe in the knowledge that no one's gonna taint em.

cheesiest ever, keanu reeves in youngblood... old hockey movie... where he portrays a french canadian goalie.... really really badly.. he sounds like a fake french ted theadore logan (from bill and teds excellent adventure) another cheesy flick
Posted by RobbyG. on Feb-24-2005 06:38:
Alec Baldwins monologue as a salesman in "Glengarry Glen Ross" has to be one of the best "moments" in movies...I've tried to find the whole monologue online but didn't find it...One line that he says is:" ...FUCK YOU....THAT'S my name...You probably drove a Hyunday to get here...I drove a $96,000 BMW....THATS MY NAME..." or" ...see this watch?...ya see this watch?...that watch is worth more then your car..."
Thats whole scene is priceless and the rest of the movie is great too

"well you just choose somebody you want to be in the foxhole with, then you keep your dick in your pants!"

"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death, and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise can not see all ends."
Gandalf in Fellowship of the Rings
Best line ever for me.

I like that one line in Pulp Fiction after Marsellus gets rapped in the ass...
Butch - "Are you ok?"
Marsellus - "Nah man... Im pretty fukin far from ok."
but again, that movie is full of great lines, i fukin love Pulp fiction, one of my top movies of all time.
But one of the best dialogs that i just cant help to quote while watchin that movie and giggle after is...
Jules: Mmm! Goddamn, Jimmie! This is some serious gourmet shit! Usually, me and Vince would be happy with some freeze-dried Taster's Choice, but he springs this serious GOURMET shit on us! What flavor is this?
Jimmie: Knock it off, Julie.
Jules: What?
Jimmie: I don't need you to tell me how fucking good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it. I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping she buys SHIT. Me, I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it I wanjt to taste it. But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen, it's the dead ****** in my garage.
Jules: Oh, Jimmie, don't even worry about that...
Jimmie: No, let me ask you a question. When you came pulling in here, did you see a sign out in front of my house that said "Dead ****** Storage?"
Jules: Jimmie, you know I ain't seen no...
Jimmie: Did you see a sign out in front of my house that said "Dead ****** Storage?"
Jules: No. I didn't.
Jimmie: You know WHY you didn't see that sign?
Jules Winnfield: Why?
Jimmie: Cause it ain't there, cause storing dead ******s ain't my fucking business, that's why!
on man.. the list goes on and on

"For ever action, there is a reaction. And a Pikey reaction... is quite a fucking thing."
"So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" into the Greek word for "virgin," which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the next thing you know, you have the Roman Catholic church." (loved that explanation!!)
"Replicas? What do you mean, replicas?"
"They look real don't they? I also brought some extra loud blanks just in case."
"In case what?! In case we have to deafen them to death?!"
Buahahah best movie evarrrr!!!
