ATTN ---To the Up&Comer, & his Manager/fans
This is intended for FLTA's so I will make it broad enough so outsiders will not understand it, yet FLTA's will know where im coming from.
As im sure some of you already may (or may not) know, there was a conversation of me in a public chat dissing an up and coming dj that you all go to see.
Unfortuantely, I will admit. Its true. I did do that whole he said she said shit and it has come back to me with a vengeance. However, unlike a few other people (both on and off this board), I will be a man and admit it. I guess in a wway it was out of a bit of frustration that someone i knew was able to be heard at the right place, at the right time, with the right people, to propel him to where he needed to go, whether it be with cd/vinyl/Live PA, etc.
I guess its also due to the fact that I myself had no direction while initially learning to dj and perform that every person i had help me out, turned to be a shitty ass pr!ck who used me to get what they wanted. This is something that I warned the up and comers manager about, and i really do hope he takes my advice on this.
To the Up and Comer,
Dude, as embarassing as it is to know that those words came from my mind, I hope you know that these words do too. I am truly sorry for what was done and wish hoenstly that things could be taken back. im not a hater, im not a shit talker, and i guess thats why i felt compelled to write this. That way people know who i am, not what they 'hear' from people , like i did about you.
To the Manager,
I hope you do the right thing and help the Up and comer in whatever he can. You have a good clean head on your shoulders. Thank you for discussing this with me.
To the fans of his,
Although I can say that I wish i could take it all back, i doubt any of you would believe me, so all I can say is that I am at a loss for wards right now, and I truly am sorry.
I can say much more, but what i do have to say, can best be said to the people in person.
All i know is, the others that do talk and hide behind shadows, and say that they didnt, can ask 'the manager' what they are.

Seeing as I am a 'FAN', I will speak for us 'FANS'. We all know the truth about the 'up and comer' and no one can say anything that'll change our minds. I'm not 100% sure of what was exactly said by you nor do I care.
To the 'up and comer'.. I see you going places.. and this wont be the last time you hear something negative so BEWARE!!

And its not half ass, seeing as how ive spoken to them myself. I didnt even have to start this thread about my apology for what I did, but i figured i would to show them that im serious.

eyekon im glad you came publically and did this .. this showed alot of balls and i dont know many who woulda done this . about the shit that was said about me and eric, well , i told eric goin into this over a year ago .."eric, when you make it , you are gonna start to see how haters and jealous people are gonna start comin out of the woodwork" you will have people that are gonna hate on you !! you are gonna have friends you never knew you had. etc etc .. and i told him to never get mad and lose it cause it was a natural thing that was gonna happen . unfortunately in this business theres alot of jealousy ! and it is understandable since every dj wants to make it ! and jealousy and all that is fine .. just as long as it doesnt go too far .. like when people get so jealous that they talk excessive shit ! and then excessive shit that on top of being shit isnt true . and what upset me was that i told eric all these things and im the one that went and lost my head over this . so all i have to say is fuck that bullshit !! i know people are gonna hate and talk shit etc etc . im just not the one to take having shit said about me or of a close friend of mine .. and to all that are reading this and are part of that hater crew .. please refrain from talkin shit about us cause we never would about any of you .. what you do is your business and your business only !! i dont appreciate and wont tollerate all the bullshit gossip that goes on in this bullshit music scene we have here in miami .. thats why im trying to do our "OWN" scene !! to weed out all of those that are into this music for the wrong reasons !! fuck the he said she said bullshit !! fuck all the bullshit club politics etc etc !! we dont wanna be part of any of that crappy negative shit !! we are here for the good music that we love !! now if eric makes it he makes it !! not cause of hype but cause hes just a bad ass mother****** str8 up !! no hype there !! erics been heard from breaks dj's to house dj's and all say the same shit !! that this fuckin guy is amazing at what he does .. noone points out little bullshit details like what he choses.. cd's or vinyl or a cdj or whatever !! that to me is a useless way to put down someone cause they are simply better ! and thats a catch and a reason to talk shit .. in the near future i say all dj's will be spinning cd's and 90% cd's !! again "WHO GIVES A FUCK ?? " its just as hard to put together a set using cd's as it is using records .. if your programing is off.. you are a useless dj. vinyl , cd's or even God himself isnt gonna help you out on this one !! so lets all drop the hate and just enjoy our fave music !! 
before i finish this tho id like to point out a few things that were said about groove eric and ill point out how accurate they are or arent:
1.eric has gotten no help from noone other than i getting his gigs .. no famous big time dj was involved in any of this !! me, eric and a few friends have done this on our own !
2. no big name dj gives eric music or vise versa ! eric has his own hook ups and has lots of other friends. yes , me , eric and edgar are good friends .. but just so you know .. edgar is a very busy dj and is barely even in town !! so theres no time for him to get us gigs , music etc .. we wouldnt bother him in that way .. we know how busy he is and we are just happy spending time as friends eating sushi , talking shit , playing madden or poker with him .. when we do have time to hang theres no talk about music barely !! if any !!
3. eric is being recognised cause hes a great dj .. noone cares what hes using wether cd's or vinyl.. in the minds of everyone that knows about music knows it takes as much talent to spin either one .. the thing is how well you put your music together and how you put it across !!
4. im not a promoter at all .. im duin what im duin cause i want a place to hear the music i love since its been whiped out of miami almost .. and ive always talked well about eric cause i saw potential in him 2 years ago when i 1st heard him .
and you know what ? i was right !! hespart of my dynamic dua of fave dj's !! im just lucky both of em are close by and i get to hang with em both !! and for those that think i include edgar in my top 2 cause hes a friend .. u are wrong !! he was in my top 2 the 1st time i heard him at shadow lounge by accident 1 night and for space after hrs there will never be a dj to top those after hrs sets of his !! 
trully some of the best nights of my clubbing life !
5. so to those of you out there that have said these things .. you see ? you were wrong all the time and stuff you have noooo idea about should never leave yer mouth unless of coarse you have confirmed your theories !!
i dont want enemies nor do i want anymore drama about any of this bullshit !! and because of that . i will forget any of this ever happened . and just keep duin what we are duin . and eyekon i give you props for admitting you were wrong in doing what you have in this thread !! like i said ! that took alot !! but as for the other pussies that talked shit !! fuck em !! and you can tell them i said so ! but as for you .. you have some of my respect back

WoW I never knew there were peeps talking shit bout eric and u Koky .. I always hear nothing but great things, I guess Im surrounded by great people ..
And like said, DJ's do get a lot of envy, and the more you suceed.. you will have more funs, but you will also have haters.. sadly is part of the scene.. look @ the big name DJ's lol.. they get trashed all day long and praised at the same time.. it's sad, cause when it comes down to the Miami scene in the music we love, we should always support, regardless.. unless the DJ is some scumface.. but in this case, Eric is nothing but a great guy.. never had thought that ppl would even talk crap bout.. I hope something positives comes out of this thread, and that to be.. Support and Respect.
a few minutes ago a good dj friend of mine told me :
dont worry when people are talking good or bad about you as a dj !! worry when they arent talking about you at all

Good to see you came clean Eyekon, atleast you have heart to admitt what you did/said was wrong.
Im sure if you were in the same position,you would be upset if peeps just hated on you for the fact that your getting gigs and so on no matter what you use to spin,its all about the music dude,we are not here to hate on anyone,if it was you we wish you the best of luck and we know you spin and despite what you said before,we or atleast I wish you luck in your dj career.Music is what brings all of us here and it would be a sad thing seeing hate and fights between folks just for what or how on spins and so on..

Eyekon...it was very big of you to come out and admit all of this. You're only human, and sincerity goes a long way.
Koky nailed it with his post. Too many people are in the music business for the wrong reasons. They want fame and fortune and don't care about what toes they have to step on to get there. There's entirely too much negativity and lack of support for other artists. It's more than apparent to me that Eric spins because he loves music and he loves being a DJ. I think any recognition is simply a bonus to him. I support Eric 100% and have been doing my own to get him heard. Anyone that would hate on Eric would do it out of jealousy because he's a great guy and he's very talented.
