Why is Webster Hall getting some good DJ's

i don't mind the announcements because it's promoting acts... but it feels like spam when someone new to the forums bombards us with these things

but yes webster hall is under a new booking person for special events. with the right dj, vibe, and people there that place could be off the hook ...it blows avalon and spirit out the box so ..be easy and thankfull the tickets are cheap and the venue is in the heart of the east village.... peace ...cosmic gate hasnt been to nyc in over 4 years so if u want to go see sasha and digweed for the 10th time do u....

10th time? They havent performed together in North America in almost a year.

Cosmic Gate is nothing special; on the other hand, seeing 2 of the best DJ's in the world together, which helped to revolutionize what EDM is now, that is special.

Also, I wouldnt be so quick to say that WH blows Spirit out of the water - that place has undergone some changes, but the vibe there needs some work.

i personally like Spirit...besides the door policy which can get stupid at times, i love the lighting, and also its well ventilated (although it gets COLD brr) and its easy to get to the 2nd floor for some breathing space and places to sit...id have to say that i like it over CroBAR for those reasons. but i still <3 CroBAR anyway...

well...glad that WH got a different booking agent but we'll see how it goes when Cosmic Gate comes. At least WH did get them to come. I'll give it a chance...

I think Sasha and Digweed would agree Cosmic Gate is special. And they have revolutionized what EDM is now, in a differnt genre hard trance/clubtrance/techtrance. What is not special about Cosmic Gate, is there any other hard trance duo's with as many hits as them ? OF course sash and digweed are awesome I agree with you totally, but dont diss cosmic gate this way plzz.

Im not dissing them, but Cosmic Gate is not Sasha & Digweed. There is no duo in the EDM universe better than Sasha & Digweed.

exactly cosmic gate are fucking awsome have have just as many hit tracks as anyone else....

well ill go to Cosmic Gate just because ive never heard them live before, so it IS a special event to me anyway

drew introduced me to Ferry and Cosmic Gate when we first started going out so its kinda sentimental too. lol

well if we raise enough of a fuss, maybe the matter will be brought to the people in charge of checking out the system. A party is only as good as the sound and the crowd it brings

A new sound system costs $$$ and from the looks of that building, it doesn't look like they're too concerned about upkeep.

Blank & Jones isn't exactly hard trance but I wouldn't call them soft. I like a lot of their produced work, especially the classic cuts back in the day.

S & D seem to bring it up a notch when they're together. I think they feed off each other.

not what you asked tho. you asked about hits not about latest productions. yeah dumonde's recent stuff is awful. and i havent heard CG production in like 3yrs. dont care for that style/sound much anymore...

DuMonde + Cosmic Gate = better than ne other 2 duos in the history of trance ever..... Digweed puts me to sleep, Sasha is good....

we all got our own tastes though... we must respect them
