Motely Crue Totally STILL has it - Thank RJ & CUZO

TALK about the most random last minute night ever. RJ and Cuzo - doods thank you so much for making the night possible.

Turns out Motley Crue still has it. THEY kicked serious arse. NO Opener - Three hours worth of music. THE theme of the CONCERT "DIRTY CIRCUS". Dirty, Dirty, Dirty and so awesome! I will be writing a review fo the concert for the magazine - will link it after it is up...the best concert I have ever been too: aside from U2.

all of mine came out dark as hell except one...feel free to use it

and I'd have to say my fav part of the night was either when they took the 10 min breather and came out on choppers OR when Nikki Sixx threw the devil horns my way i didn't catch them but it was like he was looking right at me when he threw them

edit: was kinda disappointed that they didn't play Afriad though...

So that was a pretty sweet sweet night!

My brother has worked with Tommy Lee for the last year or so on a few different albums. Tommy was gracious enough to put a few tickets aside on the "Motley Crue Guestlist" for myself and friends.

The Crue is one of those bands I had never seen live (with the group 100% original) - so it was good to finally see them. Even more of a treat was the fact that the tour was in support of their "Greatest Hits" album - thus pretty much non-stop classic fist-pumping tunes.

I'd have to say my favorite part of the night was Tommy's solo where he hit a synth-pad with some looped vocal-fx'd samples and melodies while playing the drums to produce some funky electronica-inspired beats.

Overall a great night! Long show, good tunes!

I had heard they were touring and going to be in Toronto sometime but didn't get the chance to do it....that would have been mega fun.

Agreed,

That was one of the best concerts evar. Probably because I've been a huge Crue fan since I started listening to music and knew all the lyrics. A messy night, a fine from the police, all in a good night of Motely Crue!!
