am i the only one

who's always thought "jump the next train" is fucking shit?

Posted by trevgeeza on Feb-25-2005 01:01:

probably

Posted by jizza on Feb-25-2005 01:04:

no dave, i too, consider it to be a faecal piece of rubbish.

Posted by Light The Fuse on Feb-25-2005 01:37:

heh, no dave your not the only one

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Feb-25-2005 01:37:

only heard it for the first time last night, listened to all of it coz i was cooking dinner. i prob wouldnt label it as \"fucking shit\" but it certainly didnt do much for me. severely overrated imo.

Posted by Nyquist_Theorem on Feb-25-2005 02:20:

considering its been out in one form or another for the better part of a year and has had very little commercial / crossover success despite a) being a good track for such in terms of style and b) there being a wide range of remixes out there to further this crossover appeal, i'd say that there are a lot of people who don't like it.

which is too bad, because i reckon it rocks.

mind you im also glad that most people find the music i listen to unappealing, as then i dont have to deal with most people when i'm out!

Posted by Aesthetic on Feb-25-2005 02:23:

that's right, i said who's *ALWAYS* thought it's fucking shit? i dont care if its been out for 10 years, the song is bullocks

Posted by AJS1 on Feb-25-2005 02:36:

Probspot remix is fine by me. I like it and so do plenty of others.... even Armin... hehe

Posted by tonydanza on Feb-25-2005 02:51:

It's a very mediocre song.

What's worse is the nutriding of Noone on Earth .. now THAT is fucking garbage.

Have to agree with that though. I bought it, without hearing it.... :-( waste of cash.

A track for the unenlightened Dave. Come to light, the light which calls you, the light of Progressive.

(Geeze all this bagging of the mirror man, I'm bloody starting to talk like him)

Posted by TCB on Feb-25-2005 03:07:

sorry to bust your bubble but i quite like it especially the probspot and solar stone remixes and everytime ive heard it played it has had a great crowd response. but then again it has been thrashed a bit. but oh well if the people want to hear it they play it.

Posted by stamper on Feb-25-2005 03:35:

I have to agree with you Dave. I heard it once and thought it was garbage and haven't listened to it again.

The Young Parisians - You Write The Rule (Solar Stone Remix)

is 100x better than Jump in front of a train.

Posted by Wasted_Space on Feb-25-2005 04:06:

Yeah, didn't think much of it. Still don't.

I don't particularly like it, but then I don't hate it either. It gets a good crowd response tho I've noticed. I bought it but it's been gathering dust so far..

Posted by tachyon on Feb-25-2005 14:49:

i do like the track when it first come out, it had its moments.

KvA mix is better than the rest i think.

Posted by greedy myles on Feb-25-2005 14:55:

sorry man, but disagree.. cheese or no cheese, gotta say i like it.
i like it a lot.

Posted by eRRaTiK on Feb-25-2005 20:52:

the track is fkn shit.

though Whiteroom - The White Room (Jump the Next Train Scott Bond vs XDR intromix) rocks.

Posted by 00soups00 on Feb-25-2005 22:58:

its a nice fun track to sing along to, but otherwise...

its just okay

Posted by Philby on Feb-26-2005 02:53:

if there was an instrumental it would be good, otherwise i think the vocal in it is pretty crap and ruins the track.

Posted by MrSquirrel on Feb-26-2005 04:41:

I don't care for it.

Never did.

The chorus is catchy, but I was sick of it after the second time I heard it.
