Be Cool! How much money are you for getting paid each hour into your wallet and for money with

This has been done various times, I'm sure. I do not intend for this to become some bragging/jealousy thread, I'm simply curious as to how much money people are making for doing what, with what amount of training/experience.

So if you feel like it, post how much money you are paid an hour for doing whicherver job you do, as well as how long you've been working with that company to move up there and make that amount, or how many years of schooling you had to take to get that job, etc.

I just got my first job, working as a prep chef in a kitchen for 10 dollars an hour (canadian.) I'm still in high school, so no post secondary here...I have been taking culinary arts in school for a while though.

$15.00 USD per hour as a recreational counselor for my local Middle School. I've been with them for 3 years so I started a few bucks less.

Ok. Weird. My last name is a part of your forum name, and you live about 80 miles from me. Spooky!

Ah, and when I do work, I make anywhere from $25-40 an hour. Not too bad.

well
break it down to a 40 hr workweek, i get around 9 bucks/hr

but considering the fact that im on call 24/7, and when im on the boat, its about 2.20/hr. THAT is screwed up.

Posted by Dervish on Feb-25-2005 15:39:

I'm getting probebly about 6 ($14-15ish CAN $11-12ish US) maybe more (set rate, that me saying 6hrs work a day, I definatly do less, even have a day off I never included, maybe upto 8).

For going to a special uni, my uni gives me money, so does a company.

But when I start I dunno, probebly 11 an hr ($26CAN $21US), also more money more hours). Thats for a post-grad masters engineer. But I could of started that kinda job 2 years ago.
