Synaethesia - Vocal mix ?

Whats this mix called, i think this is the best mix there is of the tune, the vocals go so well.

Im surprised Armin dosnt play this mix when he plays the tune often enough!

Ive got the tune from a compilation CD but its just called

Thrillseakers - Synaethesia.

Haven't listened to any mix for ages so i can't remember which ones have vocals and which not but the one you are talking about might be The Thrillseekers feat. Sheryl Deane - Synaesthesia (Thrillseekers Club Mix) from 2000. Also PvD did both vocal and instrumental mixes.

Thanks ill check it out...still think dj's should play this over the original, they both rule but the vocal version has way more energy and "croud blaze" potential

Thrillseekers Club Mix IS known as the original as there was never released a version titled "Original Mix". En-Motion Mix is by far the best version tho and most used i think.

Posted by bilaal on Feb-25-2005 12:27:

i hate the vocal mix i think it sound very cheezy.

the en-motion is the masterpiece.

grim, i have to disagree with you, en-motion mix is known as the original version, the thrillseekers club mix is the crappy vocal mix

Hehe, i've always kept it as "the" remix.

Its like when vocals got added to the fragma mix, i think that was more cheesy.

Its just now everytime i hear the Synaethesia i need to hear the vocals or it dosnt sound complete : /

Armins all up for his vocal stuff so donnt know why he dosnt play that mix when he plays it at all.

The Thrillseekers feat. Sheryl Deane - Synaesthesia (Dave Pierce Mix)

This is the vocal one i like of Synasthesia, not to much vocal but its still there and it rocks

I haven't heard most of the mixes of this, but PVD's insrumental does it for me.

Synaethesia (Fly Away) used to get it confused with Vincent De Moor - Fly Away

Sorry, but I strongly disagree. I'm generally a fan of well-done vocal trance. The Synaesthesia vocal isn't well-done. They turn the track into a shite radio-friendly eurotrance song. I'm not saying the original is some deep progressive masterpiece, but the vocal version just puts it waay over the top, just like the 4 Strings vocal mixes, for cash-in purposes.

Has anyone seen the movie "Formula 51" witht samuel L. Jackson. It is on hbo sometimes...it has tthe vocal version of synthasia playing in the club in europe, as well as warrior-warrior.

There was an Original mix, it has no vocal, it was on the Vandit vinyl 2 release, PvD plays it as well as the En Motion Mix, both are very good, all the rest pretty poor IMO, even the PvD mixes he did are very average by his standard.

Oh there really is an Original?! I have never even heard of its existence until now. Cool, i guess. Thanks for the correction.

Nice mislabel there.
Dave Pearce did not remix that, and he doesn't produce either.

Yeah, there is an original, which is interesting to hear. However, I don't think it's all that special otherwise, sounds pretty dated now. Best to stick with the En Motion and PvD mixes if you ask me.

On the topic, I do quite like the vocal in Paul's Vandit Mix, which goes for a tougher approach and uses little of the melody, but features the vocal cut in the break. Works pretty well.

there's probably at least 3 different pvd mixes of this track too i think and only one of them is any good IMO and that's the one released on vandit cd-single (i think, not 100% sure). anyway i've been after that particular version for a long time, but haven't found it on cd anywhere!

yup, saw that movie, i think it's great, great action & humor

using Synaesthesia was perfect to set the mood in the club there, really nicely done

I have the double pack with the vox

The PvD dub is pretty mint tho, different from the norm
