Paintballing

Ok, so im going paintballing on Sunday, been once before a couple of years back, this one should be good.
Tell me your paintballing stories, will be great to hear them.
At the place we're going to the also have smoke and paint grenades you can buy to use...anyone have any experience with these?

dont use too much smoke

you should clarify your rules on shooting w/o direct line of sight
i was playing like two years back and i was lying behind a bunker and i saw a guy start running up to bunker me, so i stuck my gun around the corner of the bunker, and never losing sight of him shot him twice
he thought that was bullshit so he just kept yelling and running and shot me like 5 times

Ok, i'll get started.
The first time i was shot it ricoched of my arm and didnt burst. The ones that dont burst are the ones that sting the most!
Me and a friend of mine who was on the other team were both running around this hedge. We scared the shit outa each other when we saw one another and shot eachother on the head 5 or 6 times...it absolutley killed.

Why are paint grenades a waste of money? I would have thought they'd be good to make the enemy atleast get out in the open to run away if it doesnt get them.
Smoke grenades good?

Well depends what you want out of it...
If you're in for the fun...sure smoke/paint grenades make it more "interesting", especially if you guys are playing scenario games (ie. attack & defend, hostage rescue etc.)
I come from a tournament style of play (speedball)...screw the grenades, get a plan down (angles), play fast and smart with lots of communication between teammates.

Both can be fun.

Yeah it'll be just for fun...just 3 mates from college and loadsa of other people in scenario games so i think i'll give them ago... never know unless i try them

i got shot in the nipple once, wasnt a pleasent experience!!

I love paintballing. It's heaps of fun. Im not really into the speed-ball thing, but the outback warfare is awesome. Snipering peoples off is the greatest.

I am going to get myself a marker soon. I want to get the evil Omen.

theres a notorious house on campus called 'the paintball house' because team dynasty(who won like nationals 5 out of the past 6 years) lived there. now frat guys do(ugh!) but hey still kind of a cool story right?


oh i got one more. in 7th grade my buddy bought a gun and asked me to shoot him. we didnt know how to work it so the paintballs kept going all sideways and what not. we finally turned down the air and 33 shots later i got him. can you imagine standing there for like 15min w/ a kid who has no aim shooting at you? lol!

when summer arrives, me and the boys will go paintballing

and im gunna search ebay for a cup, u know, u dont wanna get shot in the nashers...

Ive never been hit there. There really is no need to worry; just wear loose fitting clothing.

waste of money. chances of getting hit in the nads are slim, although it does happen.

someone in the neck for maximum pain, its great!
