CDJ 800 Vs CDJ1000

No flames please. I know that the CDJ1000 is better than the CDJ800, that is a given. Here is the question, I can get a pair of 800s for 850USD brand new. 1000s would cost me around 1700USD. Are the 1000s really worth it? For the extra money do they have a button to give me a hummer while I spin?

its not in the manual and its not widely known, but the extra you pay for cdj1000s over 800s means you get the blow job attachment included.

800's are great decks...but if you have the money...go with the 1000mk2's

Actually it is depends on your playing style i.e if you really wants all this loops feature, hot cue and other, that presents in 1000's - just buy it! I have tried 800 and 1000 for few years and have to say - there is no difference between them in terms of loading mechanism, easy-to-use, navigation between and within the tracks as well CD audio read ability and fast operation... I'm not doing scratch and all this crap like turntablism - so I don't know how it feels on 800 instead of 1000. But confidently can say - If you work on progressive, club music and touch the jog just for speed adjustment - get the cdj800 and put the rest of your money to the mixer

I think it depends if you want the saveable hot cue function or not.

I just received something like 9000$CDN for my studies from the government. Guess if I'm going to buy a CDJ800. Or maybe 2?
