Watch trailer #4 (with headphones if possible).

Trailer #2 is good as well. Bad translation, but at least it's in English.

The ever growing FFVII family ("Compilation of Final Fantasy VII" project):

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie)
Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis (Cell Phone game surrounding the Turks)
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (upcoming action RPG for the PSP)
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus (Takes place 3 years after FFVII and stars Vincent Valentine. Looking like a DMC-type game, at this point in time)

Anyone notice the "Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus" play on title

Expect another title in the FFVII line that starts with an "E" in the near future.

In anycase... I hated FFVII. Probably because of all the hype it received. But seeing these trailers... Damn! I can't wait!

Yeah. It was One Winged Angel.

Just because a game is over-hyped doesn't mean it's not worth playing. I still place it in my top three favorite RPG's. Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean: The Second Star placing above it.

You dork! Play the original Star Ocean! That's my favorite RPG of all time. JUST ahead of FF3/6.

I actually had the Super Fami version. Played the whole thing in Japanese with the translation printed out. Thing came out to like 100 pages.

I recently got the Emu version. Much sweeter being able to finally play it in fully translated English.

it's not really hype, just respect ppl give it b/c of the emotional attachment players had with the characters in the game, like i did. also the music by nobuo uematsu was great

that was sick... especially once you got to the level 80/90 magic users... i used that relic that avoided all enemies. there was no point to fighting enemies there unless to get magic points.

I loved that item. I was always mega levels higher than I should be in every RPG I played. Plus, to gain magic point, you just go to that desert and fight Cactrot.
