Gene Kelly - Singing in the Rain (Mint Royale Remix)?

i saw a car ad that had this track, i was wondering if this is a mash up or the real remix by Mint Royale
when will it be released?

The mix was specially made only for that commercial but either one of the Mint Royale members (can't remember which) said a while ago in an interview that he is currently trying to get rights to release the full version of the mix. So hopefully he succeeds in his mission and we will see it released. It's a great update IMO.

Apparantly Neil from the Mint Royales needs persuading about actually releasing it, as theirs some copyright issues to address. He did say "watch this space" though, and thats the official word it seems!

I was hoping someone would mention this. I saw the commercial, and the tune instantly struck me (though the hack job they did of Gene Kelly was pretty shocking too).
