armin review! holy fuckin shit
man o man...what the hell was that??? 3 hours of the best trance i have ever heard...im in dream land!!!! 
I don't think i will have to say too much because it seemed like everyone had a great time

Holy shit , i think Armin proved he's the best trance dj ever , this was the best night of my life . Comparing to him , Tiesto was a pure joke last month . Armin was really nice to everybody , he never refused to shake a hand or to sign a sheet paper , a great person with modesty .
Anyways , it all started yesterday , I didn't know when Aria opens , so i arrived there at midnight . The club wasn't open yet , and i had to wait in that freezing cold temperature for 2 damn hours (that was my fault) . A few minutes before 2 AM , the club started opening its gates and people were entering . As promised , the persons who had already bought their tickets didn't have to wait in the line-up (which is a great thing) . Once in there , i went directly to our TA meeting spot where i first met mastercongo (the pornstar hehe) and his buddy , then came TheRizzler , then ZinG & OrAnGeMeK , then DJ Happy , and finally Delstar . Yaz (a local resident dj at Aria) was the one doing the warm-up for Armin . At 4 AM precisely , Armin stepped up in the dance floor to go to the dj booth , once i saw him , i told ZinG : look it's him this time (because we were fooled earlier by a guy who was wearing an Ajax jersey in the dj booth , so we tought it was him) . We almost ran to follow him (i think ZinG and i are the perfect dj stalkers) . Armin was supposed to begin his set at 4:30 , but he started 15 minutes earlier (which is better) . He started his set with Trancesetters - The Saga and right after he threw his remix of Iio (a killer track with a killer remix played by a killer dj) . Here's a little list of other tracks :

I spent half of the time in front of Armin with the crowd , and half of the time behind him , because Aria has a special dj booth . Once i got my Orinoko vinyl cover signed , i went behind Armin looking at the way he mixes , his trackselection , etc ... I remember Delstar telling me before Armin starts that he would like to hear him playing Members of Mayday - 10 in 01 . When i was behind Armin , i took my cellular phone and wrote "10in01 plz" , he nicely smiled and moved his head up and down to say yes . I was so impatient at this moment , i even reminded him a second time and i understood that he couldn't play it right now . Suddenly he starts looking for some tracks , and then he takes away a vinyl , he looks at this me and says "this one is for you" . w00000000t w00000000t the others around me didn't understand why i was so happy . Hehehe Delstar you're one lucky mofo , without me u wouldn't hear 10 in 01 (tut tut tut tut tut tut tut) . When the end of Armin's set approached , i saw Studio54 (he came from Calgary to check Armin Van Buuren !!!!!!!) with his big Dutch flag , i was waving at him with my vinyl cover , but i don't know if he saw me or not ... While i was behind Armin , i took some magnificent pics of him and of the crowd , when he finished i asked him if i can take a pic with him , he nicely said of course . Once he stepped out of the dj booth , dozens of fans were around him asking him questions , autographs and shaking his hand . Armin was cool , he didn't snob anyone (like other djs do) . By the way i even spoke to Erika (his girlfriend too) she was quit impressed that i knew her name
I remember a funny thing , when i was in the dancefloor , a guy comes to me and asks me "who's the dj ??" i answer "Armin Van Buuren" , "Armin Van Doren ??" , "No , Armin Van Buuren" , "Van what ??" , "Armin Van Buuren" , "Cool where is he from ??" , "Holland" , and then the guy looks at me in a surprised way and says "Oh holy shit !!" hahaha . Another funny thing , ZinG and I were betting who's gonna be the first one to identify a track , hehe i kicked his ass .
OMG i never danced like yesterday , once i got back home , i never felt so tired , i had two cramps in my legs , i even screamed of pain .
By the way , who was the guy with the Ajax jersey ? i saw him at PvD , Tiesto and now AvB ...
That's all i can remember now ...
Big shoutouts to Biggy (jfl) , u have the best club in the town , and i'm pretty sure that yesterday it was the best night at Aria , i don't think there's a dj who had such an influence on the crowd like Armin did . I wanted to take a pic of u with Armin , but he was busy doing his work

hey wuzzz up!!!!! man what a night! im impressed i knew all the songs except for the opening one. and the one after suburban train (the one he mixed with a sample of rank 1 - such is life) it was fucking awesome you guys saw me i was quiet most of the time but it was cuase in sona i started dancing all max set and at 4 am i couldnt even walk. so thats why i waited till armin came on.
at the begining he was having trouble with the sounds i dont know if it cause of the speakers or cuase ZinG was putting the glowsticks in his face every 5 minutes lol. j/k
well other than that it was really nice meeting you guys and im looking forward to meeting you again.

oh ya...there was a problem with the far right turntable...it would stop or cut out...i thought armin was complaining about the right monitor speaker....but when they moved him over to the other decks...yaz had to explain to him the north american mixer....poor armin's first mishap in the north america....the tables on the far right have a trance/euro style mixer with gain bars and knobs..the mixer on the left was all knobs...fuckin weird? im surprised he adapted so fast...
funniest thing i saw all night......when armin walked into the booth and shook hands with me.... he turned to yaz and said "hi, im armin"...yaz looked at him and said "excuse me? armin?" then he said "i'm yaz" like armin gave a shit! then after 5 min. of armin waiting...yaz looks at him and points to his watch.....didnt they tell this idiot that armin van buuren was spinning right after him???

and fastdj i think what you said that it was better than tiesto maybe cause you didnt enjoyed at sona. wait till tiesto comes to aria. many ppl say he's really nice. even nicer than armin not for nothing he's the 6th best dj in the world dammit a lil bit and he could have taken oakenfolds 5th place

and that dj list is bullshit , they put armin #27 and paul oakenfold #5 what the hell is this ?
Another Unforgetable Trance night
Armin was wonderfull! His track selection where awesome.
The song that I liked hearing the most and still in my head is The Sound Of Goodbye. The vocals are sooooo good and trancy.
He was very friendly , signed me 2 autographs
But I didn t find him better then Tiesto but at the same level
as him and he s sure another Tranzmaster. The Bpm of Tiesto was higher then the one of Armin.
I m sure the evening would have been better at sona with their
Turbo Sound and the green laser. The sound @ Aria didnt
impressed me alot. but then at Sona it would have been overcrowed like tiesto. Talking about people, I was expecting to see more
people yesterday!
