[progressive-trance production] Hydro - Morning Haze ***Updated***
Hey whats up,
*EDIT*
We didn't like how the track sounded before... so we decided to make some changes and updated it. Changed the basslines... and some percussion... with a couple different instruments... I spun this last friday at Lobby and just to test it out and it sounded pretty nice. Hoping to hear some feedback from this updated version. Thanks
***EDIT**
This is the new updated version for anyone who's interested. It sounds a bit messier, and the kick is still weak, but we're going to have a friend come in to do a mixdown/master. Hopefully you guys like the changes. (Strings in the break/ending, extra guitar melody, extra arp toward the end)

Just listend to it a few times and I have to say, amazing job. Its a little light and airy for my tastes, but it sounds awesome. The breakdown is really really long, but I guess thats what you were going for so it works. I love the layering of melodies, a lot of the echoing and panned sounds are great. I liked pretty much everything. I have a question though....did you guys make all those sweeping sounds and effects yourself? I feel like I remember you mentioning using Spectrasonic's Atmosphere and was wondering if thats the vst you used for some of those cool sweeping ambient type sounds. Anyway, great job. Get it out there now and get it played.

i'm not a good judge of technical details, but i can tell you that it's fantastic!
lots of improvement here. I like the feel of the track but somethings are lacking. Mainly the mastering , on my monitors it starts to hurt my ears and it becomes unejoyable to listen to. While you have a lot of sounds going effects and sweeps, I have a feeling that there is something missing some main catchy part of the track thus the track gets a little boring after the break. Overall you got nice sounds going here, and you imporved a lot.
peace
Jay
