Sidechaining

Can someone please tell me the quickest and easiest was to perform sidechaining in Fruity Loops....

It's just that even though I have used fruity for years, I havent done much controller linking at all.

use search button,this is already discussed,but ok,this is simple:
put your bass or pad on fx1 and set compressor on it,put your kick on fx2 and set peak controller on it.then,click on compressor's knob 'gain' and chosse link to controller.in controller options choose peak fx2 and for input set Invert.use peak controller to controll base volume and other stuff.
that's the way i do it...

oh yeah by the way.. I didnt try to come across as a complete dumbass... i've actually linked stuff to controllers before, I just dont fully understand how it works... for example:

Recently, I linked the cut of a 3xOSC to the Peak controllers LFO.

Now first of all, what LFO is it talking about... explain in lamens plz.

secondly why is the meter on the peak controller moving up and down all the time? Its like its got some pre-made LFO....
