F4ck Tiesto. Dave Clarke Rules.
IMO the most talented human being behind the decks. He will play the same track as another great techno dj, but Dave puts his own flavor to it & makes it perfect. For any unicorn lovers that dont know him heres a very unique set. Alot of industrial & 80's mixes. God shit.

Dave is cool, I have a few of his tracks, His track selection gets annoying though
Most talented human being behind the decks my ass. And that's NOT taking turntablists into account. If any DJ needs to get rid of a nasty habit, it's Dave Clarke and his "people love me regardless of what I do so why don't I try playing around with this technique/FX even though I suck at it"-habit.
Props for genious tweaking on Frank Biazzi - Turbulence though. And when he just takes things seriously enough he can play some smokin' electro/tech sets which blow the socks off many techno DJs tunewise.
Chalk 'n' Cheese.

Oh yeah, and his previous EMs are a lot better than that one. Still a good set though, nice and varied.
carl cox > dave clarke
in a fight, i think tiesto would win.
Who the f4ck is Dave Clarke?

Me thinks Ory got himself some new targets
Clarke may be a pompous ego maniac windbag BUT tracks like compass, red 1 and others + world service at least puts him above trainwreck tiesto.
I enjoy AB/DC - The Feelin'...or is it This Feelin'?

| Originally posted by Ory No, actually I agree with you. Look for my thread about him a few weeks back. His EFX usage is really pissing me off, and alot of the time he just cuts from one track to another without mixing properly. His EM last year was alright though... so was the one 11 years ago. Oh, and he's a bigger ass than I. |
I havnt heard many of Clarke's sets yet...so I'm not one to judge...but I can agree with the f4ck Tiesto part...

his efx usage doesnt suck
this EM is nice
tiesto sucks

Sven Vath > Dave Clarke?
I'm certain you mean, who has the bigger ego and we know that's Sven.
Adam Beyer pwns both of them anyway!
im not a big fan of tiesto but WHAT THE F$CK TIESTO HAS TO DO WITH DAVE CLARKE?!!!! YOU F$CKING NOOB if you really know techno, dave clarke is a good mixer but his fx are
I went to see dave clarke once and tbh I'd never rush back to see him again.
I found the techno he was playing bland. His mixing created little flow to the set and his over use of the effects was just annoying.
However the whole night was saved by matthew jonson playing live in the other room. the guys has got some serious talent in the studio.
btw Richie hawtin would own clarke.
