it's ok, melody is a ripoff of anne clark's our darkness, that being said, i like vadim zhukov's mix of love is gonna save us

hehe

well he ubered it up.. one of the best benny benassi tunes i think. That melody has been used countless times

I guess we have anne clark to thank for the originality

Quite old, nothing special... 4/10 rating

Posted by Zenchowdah on Mar-02-2005 13:52:

first time i heard it (Tiesto innercity 03, i think) i freakin lovvvvveedddd it, but now its degraded to "eh, not bad." i dont skip it when it comes up on random on winamp.

The Vadim Zhukov mix really blows the track outta the water... really well done!

Posted by Spacey Orange on Mar-02-2005 14:22:

i likey very much

well, much better than the other comps on that album

Posted by |cEbLu3 on Mar-02-2005 15:21:

intro bassline rocks don't dig the see saw melody tho

Posted by Atari Addict on Mar-02-2005 15:59:

it's a well rounded so-so track, it's got high points and low points, dosent keep me hooked the whole time. Melody is indeed a rather cheap ripoff of Anne Clark - Our Darkness. I also think that the best part of the track is the intro bassline, and that dosent say much. It's an overall mediocre track, I did like it a lot more when it was first released

Loving Benny Benassi and his cousin and everything they do at the moment, totally unique electro-house sound with trance influences, lots of energy and a driving rhythm . G & M Project Remix of No Matter What You Do was one of my Favs, and his album Pumphonia only had 1/2 weak tracks from 12. Looking forward to their album this month

They're not unique, they just brought that sound to the mainstream.

and who started that sound?

i dont think anyone has used that sound as effieciently as they did to say the least.. definatley comendable.. heck they even got kosmonova to go full circle with his remix of california dreamin

Benny Benassi ROX. Too bad he started making decent cash, now noone likes his stuff.

Lots of producers have used that sound, obviously. I'm not criticizing them, I'm just saying that they brought it to the mainstream.

So you're saying people don't like him anymore because he's gotten commercial? He was commercial from the beginning. Satisfaction won "Dance Track Of The Year" (or whatever they call it) on Ministry of Sound. He did some work before that, too, but it was pretty damn commercial too.

I don't care what you people think, i love SATISFACTION!

I remember one time being at a club and a local dj mixed the track in.. it was one of the best moments. The lights shut off at the club, fog machine came in, then red and green lasers came in, the wind machine right over the crowd, you had your eyes open but you couldn't see shit. Satisfaction was playing.. it was an awesome clubbing moment.

Remeber my definition of cheese:

' A artist that copies an already proven successful forumla. The song lacks creativity, lacks the 'new sound' feeling, and more importantly fails to change or sounds recylced.'

With that definition of cheese I honestly can say that Benny Benassi is cheese.

Why?

In all of his releases he continues to use that same electro sound. You know exactly what I meant, that stupid horn sound synth.

I'll be honest the first release he did with it was good and had the funky flair to it. Be he, in a cheesy way, continued to recylce that sound over and over until in my mind it was cheesy.

Because Benny Benassi continued to recycle his sound it now sounds dull and boring. If he just would have stopped and left it alone and move forward than that Benny Benassi sound would not be cheesy. He f$cked it up. Sorry.
