Armin's "A state of Trance" Radio Show coming to Club246 Network

Club246 Radio has confirmed a partnership with The Radio Department to deliver Armin van Buuren�s cult �A State of Trance� radio show.

Armin is one of the world�s most popular DJ�s having reached number 3 in DJ magazines annual poll for 2003 and 2004.
His �A State of Trance� brand includes a record label; CD compilation
series and a radio show which until the stations recent demise, aired on ID&T radio in Holland.

From epic to deep, progressive to banging, melodic or percussive � �A State of Trance� exclusively showcases the coolest and most ground breaking sounds from the global trance scene, meticulously selected by Armin, from one of the most in-demand record boxes in the world.

The show has just been nominated for this year�s International Dance Music awards in the Best Dance Radio Mix show DJ category.
The awards will be held at the Winter Music Conference in Miami later this month. Armin is also short listed for another 4 awards including Best Global DJ.

Great news for Toronto's radio waves! Glad to hear it.

Isn't it a bit of a stretch though to say it's 'exclusive'? Perhaps exclusive in the markets of Toronto and Ottawa, but this is being distributed via a syndication service, which I'm sure has a lot of other customers out there.

Just a thought.

Format may be changing a bit but as things stand right now, we'll still be airing it.

Club246 will be giving it Terrestial Broadcast time on 100.7FM in Toronto and 97.9FM in Ottawa, as well as Satellite and DAB Radio

100.7FM in Toronto and 97.9FM in Ottawa as for the 24 hour channel that's already in the works on DAB expect to hear Club246 on DAB radio afternoons from 3pm - 7pm within a few months.

As for the timeslot it has not been decided yet as I just got the news today
