Good for roland

Yea they deserve it, can't believe they musta thought they could get away with this, oh well, maybe they make there own designs from now on.

*gasp* what a shocker was bound to happen someday.

Posted by Michael May on Mar-03-2005 22:56:

Its about time. They make a bunch of shit anyways.

Posted by Zild on Mar-04-2005 00:44:

Nice! BOSS stomp boxes are some of the best in the industry they shouldn't let Behringer knock em off like that.

Posted by 3xx3r7 on Mar-04-2005 00:47:

About damn time...

Someone needs to put Behringer out of business.

Posted by auujay on Mar-04-2005 00:47:

This is not a first for Behringer. As I recall they were sued about their Truth monitors, does anyone know if they lost that one? This case looks pretty clear cut to me. The DJX700 looked sorta like the DJMs but definitly not enough to sue, these on the other hand are complete knockoffs.

Posted by DarkFall01 on Mar-04-2005 02:47:

Yeah, I saw these pedals when they first came out, and wondered why Roland didn't do anything about it in the beginning. Behringer has a bunch of stuff that looks like the more expensive models from other brands...

Posted by webbie on Mar-04-2005 07:29:

Behringers DJX-700 looks alot like the DJM-600 if im not mistaken and its a load of crap too.
Behringer should be put out of business, i mean, Roland is a big company but think of all
the lawyers Pioneer could hire.

Anyone ever seen the eurodesk by behinger????

Looks strangely like a mackie.....

I believe mackie did actually sue them some years ago too

Posted by Timski on Mar-05-2005 04:37:

Good to see... Like you want your hard work replicated by such rubbish.

I hope more big company's follow in there actions... Fuckin behringer

haha, good stuff.

Posted by iammesol on Mar-05-2005 06:40:

the pedals i can clearly see are complete ripoffs, but as for Behringer's other equipment.. everyone knows that Behringer is a cheap version of all equipment.. think Squire > Fender... its the same thing

Behringer just lets us people who don't spend $4000 on their dj setup still be able to dj

Except Squire is owned by Fender, that is why they can rip them off

Posted by T-Soma on Mar-05-2005 08:49:

Its true that Behringer is good as cheap equipment for the low budget dj but to make a cheap product doesnt mean you have to rip of a completly good one. Its time Behringer hire some people to design their own equipment

Exactly, lots of brands do cheaper versions of other products under other names, i.e. Squire - Fender, Epiphone - Gibson, etc

Behringer isn't thought, they're ripping of designs

Posted by skip on Mar-05-2005 21:22:

ha! serves them right! fuckers...

Posted by rafale on Mar-07-2005 10:54:

haha yup bound to happen sooner or later.. they just barely avoided getting sued like hell prior to this based on technicalities and carefully planned strategizing so they dun get legally whooped.

but they were bound to slip up hahaha

oh well..

Posted by dj chex on Mar-07-2005 18:18:

i think pioneer, mackie, yamaha, and other companies that had their gear copied by behringer should sue. Once this suit is settled, im sure behringer will continue to make knock-offs for years to come. (like what happend when Mackie sued them years ago) So if more companies join im sure they'll be screwed.
