Launch of new trance label - Six:Thirty Records

Six:Thirty Records is a new UK based label which will focus on releasing the very best new and exciting electronic trance music originating from talented up and coming producers alongside more well established artists. Six:Thirty refuses to be restricted by intra-genre boundaries and will simply aim to bring the widest selection of trance based dance music to DJs, clubbers, musicians and the record buying public in general.

Six:Thirty Records is a labour of love for Ian Betts, HeatUK resident and one of Londons favourite trance DJ/Producers, and signals the realisation of his long-standing desire to create an independent outlet for his musical passion; uplifting energy fuelled trance music. The label will showcase original tracks and remixes from Ian himself as well as those from a myriad of his musical contemporaries and influences, with the emphasis being placed firmly on developing consistently high quality music that will rock club dance floors the world over.

Six:Thirtys first release will be Koinomia by Neotechnic featuring a Marcos remix and planned for release at the start of April. Both mixes have been getting a huge reaction off a very limited CDR mail out, so look out for a full promo run in March. Six:Thirty Records will be exclusively distributed around the globe by Tuned Distribution. For more information please contact Lee on +44 (0)208 964 1355 or email [email protected][/email].

Congrats!!

Personally, if the other guy on here is thinking of a distributor. Why waste your time?

You can press 500 copies of your own releases and call major chains or websites and theyll stock it most times.. and digital downloads will sell you thousands.... plus no haslses of a distributor telling you what to do. Most these days have no idea about new fresh music and seem to only enjoy pressing the same labels, or you have to know someone very well to get a deal. Very sad, as you only get maybe a handful of break through tracks a yr which define a new style.

Btw heard the track, very nice.... good luck with it all.
