well, dude, for the most part, people that play soccer in the US are those that couldnt fit into the other sports.

*shrug* Yea not many Americans appreciate soccer (myself included, but I really don't like any sports for that matter), but I used to play it in grade school to middle school. And yea, most of the "real" athletes that play American football, basketball, etc. would do horrible in soccer, and most soccer athletes world-wide wouldn't know what they're doing in basketball or American football either. It goes both ways.

Sting
Elton John
Ozzy Osbourne
etc , they much better then the America music such as :

i didnt say regionally popular, i was getting at overall popular. i agree with you that Phil collins, sting, maybe elton, ozzy, the beatles, zeppelin are all FAR superior to the shit nowadays. but your line of thought suggesting that because 'football' is the most popular sport in the world means it is the best is faulty logic.

oh, ive no argument there, but can you also see how americans are not the only ones ignorant? i dont see many europeans that appreciate baseball. i myself dont really like it either, but there are always parallels. cricket is a bit like baseball, i guess, but cricket players dont get $127 million contracts, now do they?

I love baseball (thats the only american sport i like), and why professional athletes make billions when they dont help others ?
