Anyone here Fish?
I used to go all the time a few years ago but i dont go that often anymore. Going to start going again soon because my girlfriend wants to go.
I mainly fish on Rivers and canals locally, catch alot of Brown Trout and Roach.
Anyone else go?
I love beach fishing. Take an esky stacked full of beer, have a BBQ & just chill out. It freaken awesome. I also like Jeti fishing & put down a few crap nets & squid jigs.
I dont go boat fishing as often as Id like.
Summer of 2000 was a big fishing season for me. Since then not much.
Never been sea fishing before. Wouldnt mind though, might try it in the summer maybe.

I dont eat what i catch, or kill it even. I use barbless hooks and put all my fish back into the river when im done.
The only fish i like to eat are salmon fillets or sushi.
used to fish quite often in high school....late 90's. I don't have enough time anymore, plus I live in a desert now.
fly fishing was sweet though.
Homey here fishes for stripers. Mainly behind a hydroelectric power plant with the turbines running in the middle of the night. The shad move in the turbulence to avoid the large fish and the stripes normally feed in the middle of the night. Big ass fish, I throw anything back under 5 lb and have caught them up to around 40 lb. But... such fishing is inherently dangerous, so I normally do not drink and fish, since the water coming out from the dam is moving faster than Deliverance. I've had some near death experiences dead sober out behind the dam in the dark, but that's part of the fun I reckon. F*ck the bluegills with the cane pole, I want to hang onto something with 50lb test and a 10 ft surf rod and fight.

cockroach stew is the b3st!! Imagine if you ate shit & then vomited & then ate the shit vomit. It would probably be worse than that!
I used to go fishing with my father on lake and sea,but past 2 years i wasnt near the water,no time.My biggest fish (dont know name on english) was 10kg,we are also fishing mackerell...ehhhh,that was days...I was also on ice fishing on lake, damn that was fun,but very cold(-16),but i got about 30 nice trouts.
Yes I do. But more for the casual drinking on the boat relaxing.
fishing is badass.. i figure im going up to canada soon, or maybe michigan..
I've never been a great fan of fishing. Bores the hell out of me usually.
Although we went crab fishing years ago and caught an eel. that was pretty funny
I do a bit of squid fishing.

all you need is a fishing rod & one of these

No, but...

My middle name is "fish"
I do it all, river, lake, ocean, Ice fish...a crappy day of fishing is better than any day at work. I really enjoy pan fishing, but at the same time I've caught my fair share of trophy fish and even have won some national comps. The most fun fishing I think I've done is a week in the NW Territories for Walley and Northerns. Nothin' like catchin 100 nice walleys and big pike in one day. I go to Alaska yearly too for halibut and salmon. biggest halibut I've got is 176 lbs and I caught a 40 lb king back in 2001. But the tops on big fish is right out my front door. Just hop on the Columbia river and head up stream 5 miles or so, and fish for sturgeon. Have caught and released about 20 oversize fish in the last 4 years. Biggest ones were around 10 foot (300-500lbs)... Absolute awesome times. I'm ready to go fishin' now!
Goin' pheasant hunting Friday though....that will be a fun time in itself.
I enjoy fishing of all types.
