Sheraton Floor Reservation....

I just got off the phone with someone at the Seraton and she said that it might be possible to get a floor reservation for all of us. She said that it would be a good idea to assign a group leader and I guess give a tally of how many & who is coming. So if this is possible i think it would be alot easier on all of us and on the Sheraton if we can do it.

PS: I also aksed if it was possible to use a check card with a Visa logo on it for the incidental charges and she told me that it was ok, but if anyone else needs this info and could possible ask this question it would be great cause i dont want to depend on this one person.

Well Cynthia got the list of people staying at the Sheraton - check out her Party Palace thread. I think Trancer-X already tried doing it with the hotel, I dont know if he still has the names and confirmation numbers for everyone.

I nominate Cyn for group leader... she got us all the sheraton hookup! I also know she has a list going of TA's that will be staying there; so that is already pretty much taken care of. I'm glad the sheraton is deciding to cooporate... they've been saying no room requests... until now I guess

I just got off the phone with Gavin and he is going to ask Cynthia about all this and get back to us. I know for a fact that i havent given anyoone my reservation number so i think we need to start a new checklist on who is for sure going and who has or has not given their reservation number if we are allowed a floor reservation.

i already had all the names and confirmation numbers, and tried calling the sheraton to get everybody on one floor, and they said since all the reservations were made thru hotwire, that no changes can be made to the reservations until the time of check in... so really the only way to get on one floor would be to check in all at the same time, and since everyone has different schedules, its impossible. i tried to arrange this several months ago, so sorry to burst everyone's bubble... i guess well all just see each other by the pool... maybe we should get an umbrella that says TA or something like that i dunno

Are u kidding, this is miami, they will just laugh at you, but they have nice rooms, so when I hear some of these "So called tranceaddicts but really house tools" come back from a house event and tell us their review, I'll give them my review by dropping off a few bombs in their toliets and clugging those ******s up

why not organize so that the ones getting there first can try to arrange that we all get on the same floor??

if not.

make arrangements among oureselves to check in more or less at the same time. depending on who's arriving what day.
exchange #'s so we can try to at least get there around the same time.

for ex.

those arriving on the 23rd
those arriving the 24th etc etc..

just a suggestion.

honestly i think everything will work itself out. with 30 rooms of TAs there is gonna be a large portion of the hotel filled by TAs... call me lazy but i think the hassle of arranging whose arriving when and putting everyone on the same floor is not worth just getting together with other tas and writing down their room number...

think about it, if hotel staff tries to break up the party we just go to someone elses room on another floor

I personally don't care either way. It's not like all the TA's are going to the same partys anyways. Besides who the hell is going to be in their room for any long period of time.
