That's the same as saying: (like "juice" but way more solid).

Anything is more intense than that bloody film.

The most recent asian film I've seen in cinemas was Kung Fu Hustle... Typical Stephen Chow movie - found the first half of the movie really good - although the last half was a bit bland. I hear there are plans for a sequel.

Other recent films [mostly Chinese]:

2046: bleh... I loved "In The Mood for Love" but this apparent sequel drifted way too long - visuals were good but it really didnt do much for me... lacking somewhat.

Yesterday Once More: Not bad... good to see Andy and Sammi together again, thought it was a good movie, though the ending seemed a bit rushed... could have been great.

House of Flying Daggers: Disappointing movie IMO. The love-story was weak, action scenes were average and everybody's acting, besides Andy Lau, was pretty poor. But of course, the chroegraphy was amazing.

Erm... Shiri is Korean. The first 10 minutes are awesome... and that's it.

Indeed. But the intro was quite nice

Shiri was definitely a weak movie. The best asian films right now are korean films. Oldboy was really good. If you like that film, watch Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. Failan was awesome; my eyes were watering for reasons I don't want to get into.

Last but not least, there's taegukgi, one of my favorite war movies. (Black Hawk Down being my favorite)

Oh and watch My Sassy Girl.

hehe My Sassy Girl is pretty good... but the recent prequel "Windstruck" is even better!

oh here's a must see for all you import racers out there its an old school film which still makes me feel good inside. "Th Legend Of Speed"

cars are slightly dated, but the movie rocks ass!!

Chow Yun Fat rocks, my favorite movie ever is "A Better Tomorrow" in which he stars in, and John Woo directs.

Are you kidding me? Windstruck had its funny moments, but it wasn't up to par with sassy girl. On the up side, the same girl is in it, which is all that matters right?

Oh yea, Infernal Affairs is good too.

That would be European cinema, I reckon

Nothing wrong with it though.
