[Trance] Romi - Technological Mind

Hi there, i'm new here, great forum. I'm Ron and live in the Netherlands. I'm making trance now for about a year using Reason and Cubase sx. This is my latest i'm working on. Tell me what you think, and especially what could be improved.

Here you can find Technological Mind:

i am currently listening, the start is quite good although you can enrich the first 30seconds with some of the bongos you are using later. Solid track right on the spot! The break may need some more development. You can also add a 16/16 tr303 bass at a low volume to give a more driving mood to your track, it feels like the current bassline rhythm is dragging it back. Production-wise is very good, congrats!

The melody is a bit confusing, seems like the main theme is lost somewhere but overall it sounds ok to the ear.

GOOD WORK!

Great track indeed!!! Some points catch my ears, like glide/portamento on lead. Probably cause of detuning it sounds to be offtune at the times (sounds like it wont catch note after slide) wich cause that 'confusing' feel. Otherwise great job, post that demo

indeed a nice production here, some excellent sounds. I think your bassline is a bit static, could use a little more drive and that first synth is a bit to tuby. The rest is top notch, send this out !

I love the lead and melody. It's very interesting.

I can't say all that much against it. You probably could have spent more of the song in rhythm, and less in breakdown. And even then, you still keep your breakdowns interesting, which is something not many can do.

Thanks for the comments again. A fellow producer is busy with a better final mix (at least i hope it's gonna turn out better ), so when that's done i will post a link here. -Romi

SIEMAKA??

Anyways, when I saw you knew Randor, you caught my attention , you know a great producer have relations with more great producers (I know, I'm the exception to that rule ).

Your track is really good and the production is top notch, unlike the others, I can't notice any oddities in your track (Perhaps because I'm a sucker for weird sounds).

Thanks again for the replies. I'm glad there's people who like my tracks. Well, i'm busy creating a good demo cd and this one is certainly going to be on it.
